I have "crossing the fanged sea", you can't find anyone to do it with, and it isn't required anymore.

Now it's grey, so i wouldn't even get XP for it.

Please let me delete it, i don't care if I can't get it again, etc. (Actually hope I can't accidentally pick it up again)

So just solo it. At level 70, a bunch of level 40 skeletons arn't going to harm you.

And why should he have to bother? Why should someone have to jump through hoops to get an extraneous quest off their quest journal because we can't delete it? Heck, I have one character who still has the Shattered Lands quests in her journal, waaaay green now and she's betrayed since then but I can't delete em. It's a silly constraint IMO and should be removed. CoLD, I think the only consolation you can possibly take in this is that when this subject was brought up previously someone mentioned that these quests don't count against you on your max quests count. Whether that is true or not I've not tested or checked but if it is, at least they aren't taking up quest space.

I'd enjoy being able to delete them. Whether they count for journal purposes or not, they take up space in there that has to be scrolled past and add an element to ignore at the bell. I've done them all with my main, but don't intend wasting time with my alts on them.

But, what I would like for these quests, is that although the access elements are completely redundant, I think they could be useful. If upon completion of one of the quests, the option to get a boat to the zone involved from our city docks was added. In the same way we can get a boat to Nektulos or the Steppes, having the option to buy a ticket direct to that zone would feel good to me. Not earth shattering, but give some kind of reason for the quests to exist, and merely cut down on zoning an extra time.

1. I wish the quests that are attached to the bells would go away. It's rather a pain to not be able to slam-click myself from place to place Esp. after you've done them once.

2. Quests don't count against yor total if you can't delete them and if seeing them there bothers you, then select the hid button. Select the quest and right underneath the quest listing window (above where it gives quest details) are two buttons SHARE HIDE. Select hid and never be bothered with it again. It's about the same as a delete. The only downside is that zone enver goes away in your quest book if sorting by current zone, so there is still some residue.

3. There used to be a merchant who sold tickets direct to EL and such, but you had to do some fighting on the way over so not sure it was much of a time saver.

I soloed that with Shalla a while ago .. however i have 3-4 other characters with that quest sitting in the journal, and i really really don't want to do that as a grey quest again and again.

I still get the Enchanted Lands access quest when I clock on the EH bell, even though i completed it like two years ago. It's not even in my book any longer

Its the same with Lavastorm/Feerrott/Everfrost .. if you completet the quest you'll always have the annoying selection.

The other real problem with these quests is you do not get an 'accept quest' button, you click on the person you get it. no choice.

Ug yes i have 3 of those stupid gray quests stuck in my inq's journal. I haven't had the time to go do them yet, though obviously I have no choice since I CAN NEVER DELETE THEM???. I accidently pick up the greenhood one with every darn toon. sigh.

Also the reward is nice, i used the sword you can get on a lot of my twinks later

I guess I'm missing something here....

What is the point of making ANY quest un-deletable?
