Is it me or....

Just was wondering.. is it me and some setting I have wrong or is everyone not able to log onto eq2 players? I can't log in.. every time I do, it wipes it clean and I know I am typing it in correctly. Just a website error or what? Getting mightly tired of it....

<p>Nope, I've been able to login just fine today.  :-/  Can you give more details, such as your operating system, browser and version, and whether you've upgraded recently or restarted your browser or system lately?</p><p>Sometimes closing and reopening your browser is all it takes.  Sometimes a reboot will help.  Try those first and post again with some of the info above if you're still having problems.  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

Ok, reboot and restarted, running windows Xp, Interent explorer.. should be all up to date.... and still each time I tpe in my info, it thinks about it and then clears the fields and sits there and says done....

Ditto for me...I hit "sign in" and it just clears the fields.

It allows me to login just fine. (And I am at home on my personal computer with same permissions as any of you guys) Only thing I can think of is possibly clearing your cookies to clear anything that might be getting hung up.

Still can't log in, and unfortunately I tried a password reset on my station account.   It reset the password, but didn't send me an e-mail.  Now I can't get in the game.. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<p><a href="mailto:EQ@players" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">EQ2players</a> login eventually times out for me and never comes to the page with the login box.  Either from the guild site or the eq2players page.  It did come up to the login yesterday and when I entered my info it just came back to the login box with all the info I entered cleared.</p><p> I did manage to get it to come up once and it worked fine. </p><p> This is occurring both at work on 3 different machines, at home on 3 machines and on my IPAQ mobile device.</p>

Ok we managed to get it to recreate here at the office so we are tracking down the issue. For a work around completely clearing your cache seems to allow you to log in again. But we are looking deeper into it.

It's been borked this way for me ever since they introduced EQ2players.  Never have been able to log in to EQ2players.  Always have to login to another Station site then go to EQ2players.  Have had 3 different computers over these last few years and all do the same thing.

Same here....cant log into EQ2players.  And I also get a "page cannot be displayed" screen on my "PLAY" screen instead my list of characters.  I'm sure this is linked to EQ2players as well.  Very annoying.  The problem started yesterday.

Same problem here. To be specific the problem started with the EQ2player maintenance yesterday. I had logged in prior to the site being shutdown for maintenance with no problem. Tried to login after the maintenance and had the problem. Cleared the cache and logged in ok. Today could not login, cleared the cache and logged in ok. Forum login was never effected.

Same issue when using IE.  Firefox seems to work normally so far. There were also a bunch of issues trying to navigate the site with IE once signed in.  It was dropping me back at the home page when I tried to click any of over half of the pages.

I can't get into EQ2 players either.  I have the ability but when I sign in nothing happens, it just recycles.  I am able to sign into the forums but can't sign into EQ2 players.  I tried to do the online tech support but I can't seem to sign in using my station name and password there either.  Any updates on this issue?

Completely non functional now. Even clearing the cache won't help. Get a new error page. "https://secure.station.sony.com/cas/login?service=http://eq2players.station.sony.com/j_acegi_cas_security_check&theme=eqtwoplayers&locale=en" Edited : Appears to be working again.

The error you saw there was us resetting some of the services to try to clear the issue.

Yay I was finally able to successfully log in!  First time ever since I started playing EQ2!

Hopefully it clears up significantly for most of you guys. We were able to isolate a few causes some were quick fixes and some will require a little more research and troubleshooting to actually pin down the cause but its definitely not a dead issue. Hopefully it just continues to get better as time goes on and we fix each of the causes.  Thanks for your patience!

Only one broken link on Firefox found so far for me:  Best Guilds => Most Status - Refreshes Best Guilds page and changes #1 Worldwide window at the top right to Most Status, but no guild listed in the window.  I'll post more as I find them.
