I was dualing a warden friend of mine last night, and she was dispelling my wards with her AA Serene Symbol. Thier AA is set to Dispell Poison, Disease, Divine, Heat and Cold.

If our ward is defined as Divine, thats cool, but what other class can dispell a healers "heals". That would give an unfair advantage to Fury's and Warden's if they are the only class who can Dispell another classes Heal spells/Wards. This would cover Wards, Regens and Reactives.

Addtionally, I though they made it so that Buffed based Heals(Wards, Regens and Reactives) were suppose to be not dispellable.

Atho - 70 Mystic

I believe heals are classified as divine.

Ok, I can believe that. But now I ask, are druids who pick the AA abilty Serene Symbol the only class in the game that can get a dispel other ability that can take down divine?

I know that some of the mage classes can get AA's that add other dispell abilities to their Dispel Magic, but do they also get Divine? I could sware that SOE made is to that a healers "Special Heals" could not be dispelled?

I'd check out the class forums for their AA trees, as well as this site for general spell lists. Oh, I do know that crusaders get an AOE at 35 (Bloodlines thing) that will dispel a random buff from everyone it hits. I suppose it could dispel a ward too.

Crusaders with their blc spell (everything) Brigands with their taunt (divine only) Druids with serene symbol (nox/divine/elemental) Shammys with scourge (everything) That's everything that covers divine anyway, afaik. Swashys/mages can also do magic effects and coercers can AA enhance to add mental, but that doesn't matter for this particular question.

Wow! I'm going to have to test this, but it seems that if our wards can be dispelled, that is a big problem. Not that it happens in every situation, but definitely something I hope the devs would consider looking at. That's like dispelling heals or something...
