guild status points

<p>I understand you have to be in a guild to get gsp, but if you join a guild and get some gsp, do you have to stay with that guild for any length of time for the points to 'stick'?</p><p>Thanks in advance</p>

<p>You don't have to be in a guild to earn status points.....The only 'guild' status points would be the 10% of the status you earn while guilded that goes toward guild experience.</p><p>You never lose personal status points unless you spend them.</p><p>You have to be guilded in an appropriate level guild to purchase some things using status points.  There is an option the guild leader/officers can set to choose what ranks are able to purchase these items.</p>

Guild status and personal status are separate. Personal stautus continues to accumulate whether you are guilded or unguilded and is not affected by changing that status. Guild status is only accumulated once you join a guild and resets if you leave or join another guild. If you DO leave your guild however the status you donated towards the guild's level remains. In other words your leaving can no longer result in a guild delevelling.

So, say I have 2000 personal status points that I earned before joining a guild.  Upon joining the guild will 10% be applied to the guild, or only the points I earn while a part of the guild?

<p>So, if someone joins a guild, completes a hq and leaves the same day, does the guild still benefit from their status? I have heard you had to be in a guild for 7 days for the status to stick?</p><p> Thanks</p>

It was my understanding that it takes a full week for any status points to stick?

<p>Hm, I know it isn't immediate as when I got status points for the guild I was in, it didn't show up right away.</p>
