Where is most convenient place in Freeport to buy house/set waypoint?

Now that I moved to Freeport, wow it's a big place... still exploring. Want to buy a moderate? house near broker/bank/tradeskill/etc., was wondering the most popular spot?  North?  South?  East?  West?  other? I'm interested to hear where people set their waypoints too. Thanks

<p>The only tradeskill zones are in the racial subburbs and west freeport.  Many tradeskill stations were added throughout all zones in fp so you can craft outdoors.</p><p>Only the racial subburbs and West FP have a bank.</p><p>Only East FP has the mariners bell, though West FP has a zoneline to the commonlands (most traveling you do at higher levels is at the bell in east freeport because you can go straight to nek or TS with a 60 silver ticket).</p><p>The most popular zone for people to bind is in East FP because of the mariners bells but the bank is a zone away.</p><p>The next cheapest housing after your 1st freebie house is in West FP I believe.</p>

WFP, NFP, and EFP actually. But my money is and was with WFP. Broker in the same building, bank down the way, TS instance behind the Tradefolke building (on your way to EFP zone gate) and zone entrances to every other FP sector to boot. Plus the housing is cheaper than in EFP but with the same amount of rooms and MORE house vault/broker space.

<p>East Freeport is easily far better then any of the other area's.</p><p>Why:</p><p>- Mender</p><p>- Collection NPC</p><p>- Broker</p><p>- All Bells are on the docks, feet from the appartment</p><p>- Boat ticket merchant is on the docks as well</p><p>- City merchant outside the appartment</p><p>- High population of people, if you need a port there's someone there generally</p><p>- Guild Registrar (City guild raids NPC)</p><p>- Water to swim in</p><p>- All starting area's are accessable through the bells, so pick any you need (Tradeskill instances are there too!)</p><p>- Zonelines to North Freeport, West Freeport, South Freeport.  And all VERY close compared to all other zones.</p><p>Basicly East Freeport is the hub of Freeport.  If your in East Freeport, your in the centre of everything, and close to everything.  </p>

<p>I agree, east FP has everything but a bank....and I like to go to one of the newbie subburbs to bank because there's little running around there.</p>

im currently bound and own a house in south, right next to the scale yard zone, so im one zone away from a bank and trade skill instance. also can use the bell there to go right to the east freeport docks, althogh it is a 5 room and costs alot. but i like it.

I vote WFP infront of the Militia House.  bank, Status merchant, mender, Bloodhaze Inn (good housing), Broker, tradeskills, NFP zoneline, EFP zoneline, SFP zoneline, Status item turn in in Milita house.

east freeport, house there, near docks, so you can go to nek and stuff tradeskil place up the road although you cvannot buy scrolls there broker and a banker is a zone away + you can get any were from there
