Did the GRT ever get fixed or is it still out of whack? I tried to search on this but I could only find old posts on it stating that it was broken or only showed the largest guilds, etc.  If it's still broken, what is the current issue with it?

I don't think it was ever broken. Maybe "broken" wasn't the right word but it always showed the same lists. Some guilds just never showed on it. Thanks for the reply!

Not all guilds use this recruitment tool although they are recruiting. After that LU where this tool was started, my guild also tried this recruitment tool for a bit. There were 2 people contacting us on the first day: one tried to get away with our guildbank (too bad it was locked), one we kicked after 2 days for being a real nasty guy and picking on others in every channel he could find. Many guilds that want to look for quality instead of quantity and trying to keep a family orientated guild atmosphere maybe won't use this tool. So when you are looking for a guild, group with people, ask them about their guilds (ask members first before you talk to officers/leaders), check their websites/forums. You get a feeling for a guild in that way, and when you like what you see, ask for an invite. Just my point of view <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<p>the problem with the GRT is that it only shows the largest guilds with a recruiter on.  my guild is small and has only made it on twice for a short period of time and the largest guild is always on and always at the top of the list.  ive havent heard of any change to it, id love to see the list having random guilds.  </p>

<p>thats not true.  one of the few times i had my guild on the GRT was just after an update, so there werent many recruiters on.  we were about 10th on the list.  since the guild was on the list i decided to keep myself logged on when i went back to work.  by the time i got back i was off the list, the usuals were back on and the largest guild was again on top.  from what ive been told is that it was supposed to be random but it got messed up and shows the largest guilds with recruiters on.</p>
