Shadowknight Trade Skill?

<p>I am just now starting a Shadowknight on a PvP server, and I'm debating between making an armorer and an alchemist.  I am primarily focusing on solo PvE and PvP.  I am leaning towards alchemist for spells since SKs really rely on these.  Does anyone have a suggestion?</p>

Alcehmist is a good choice. You can make spells and potions to increase stats and a few others beneficial to fighters.

Like the previous poster said, both are good choices.  I play a SK with my craft being provisioner.  Everytime I need to upgrade my spells and gear I wish I were either an alchemist or an armorer.  Personally, if I were to start over it would be alchemy because gear isn't hard to come by, yes it's expensive at times, but there's almost always an option.  The spells, however, I found are VERY expensive and not nearly as easy to find as gear upgrades.  I often end up having to check the broker for a few days before I find a spell I'm looking for. Not to mention, if you have alchemy, you can then sell the good spells you make and cover your armor costs.  Just do some research into what spells sell the best, keep any rares you come across aside for them and you'll have your adept 3s and up-to-date gear quite easily.  You could even cover your gear by earning the PvP sets.
