I'm a level 16 inquisitor, have 516 power. After killing a few mob, have to stand around for too long... it's getting old waiting on regen Currently drinking MILK, increases out-of-combat regen per tick by 15.0 I'm sure theres better stuff on the market, but when I search broker, there's way too many things to examine. I'd appreciate some help on this! Thanks

Use advanced search for the broker, refine it by level and you will be able to cut your choices down to manageble levels.

Keep in mind food and drinks scale to level so even if you use something that is much higher level than you, its effects will scale down. Another method of boosting power regen when you are out of combat are Totems (the earliest one is Totem of the Beetle??). They aren't indefinite however.

Inquisitors have a low power pool compared to the other priests. If you stick it out, I think that at lv45 you get a proc that gives you power and it is very good.

At lv 16, it's pretty hard to get items to regen power (flowing thought items) so the best option is to get your Wisdom high so that you have more max power. One other tip, I don't remember at what level you get your first one, but there are 2 Character Traits options that give you a chance to get +5 power regen. Always choose those instead of +max power. The other 2 choices are +max hit points and +health regen.

I have no idea if Milk is a good option or not for your level but as suggested, try to advance search by level and see what drinks are available at lv 20, those are the ones you should be looking at right now.

Also, if you run Yaulp, it's gonna eat your power a lot at those levels, it is an awesome buff but if you are low on power and not fighting turn it off, it is a quick cast once you get ready to fight again.

Thanks all, that helped alot. I turned off Yaulp, don't really need it. I upgraded food and drink, now has 30 regen. I found some cheap totems that add another 12 regen (didn't know about totems). Thanks!

Just one hint. Food does scale to your level so you can use level 70 food and have the same regen as you would with level 20 food. I am just saying this because I find most food/drink to be cheaper at higher levels because there is usually more available.

Like others said there is Food for Health, Drink for Power and Totems. But there is also Potions (health and power ones). The potions don't restore as much and are more expensive but they have 1 huge advantage, they can be used IN combat while everything else is out of combat.

My suggestion is that even if you don't like tradeskilling make a pocket provisioner to supply yourself with food/drink, your wallet will thank you.

If you don't have a pocket provistioner handy just remember these rules of thumb... If your buying npc food buy a Tier ahead, ie if your in Tier 3, buy Tier 4 food (its that crappy), If your purchacing player made stuff you can get away with going a Tier back, ie in Tier 4, buy Tier 3 food/drink.

Also as you level, keep an eye out on the gear, there are many that come with added benefits like in/out-of combat power regen. Also, most races will get a racial trait option with one of them being an increases power and/or power regen.

I still haven't made up my mind what trade skill I want. I wonder what other potions are beneficial to a caster...

>>>I found some cheap totems that add another 12 regen (didn't know about totems).<<< There are a number of useful totems, although some won't be available to you until you level a bit. - health regen (out of combat) - power regen (out of combat) - invisibility (must be at least level 30) - underwater breathing - see stealth/invisibility - spirit of the wolf (increases your run speed) Woodworkers make these.

The potions in eq2 only give a small amount of your total power/health back to you, they are more for long fights where you just need a little bit at the end to win out. It's not like wow where you can pop a potion and be full again.

In my opinion handcrafted food and drink is very affordable. I would never bother with a 'pocket provisioner' because it's just not that big an expense to me.

You need to buy food higher level than you, it doesn't matter how much higher, but it has to be higher to get max regen. I always buy player made food; I don't even know where the other food is sold.

If you want to really increase your solo speed, totems help a ton if you're grinding mobs in a small area with little downtime looking for mobs. The power regen totems are also nice for traveling before you get a mount because the extra power regen means longer sprints.
