I'm sure someone has mentioned this but I couldn't find it. With the new 'get pristine' changes that are coming into the game, what happens to the rares on failures. I think my carpenter has some of the new formatted recipes but it looks like you just get fuel back and, as it looks, just one. I imagine I can test it but would rather find out what has been said to happen to the rares on failures. As it is, I can usually sell a non-pristine rare item for what I paid for the rare.

How about making an icon that says <<Mats>> and giving all are mats back incuding fuel. I just don't see how loosing a rare or anything else but time on a combine would make sense. It would make more sense to loose the fuels and be able to decontruct what you were crafting to get the raws back, IMO... what's the word.

For recipes that do not use rares you will get the fuel back - which is eeffectively the same as selling it back to the broker for the fuel cost and buying new fuel.

If I remember correctly the way lady Domino explained it in her initial post you get fuel back for non-rare fudged recipes. BUT if you fudge the rare recipe you will get to keep the rare but loose fuel and rest of the raws.
