long download

So i just bought the game and have a 50 hour update time, i have 512kb connection so its not bad speed, but this seems more then a little ridiculous so is there a way to maybe... speed it up?  Another site to get the patch's from a faster way?

You will find that it wont take that long to download. When ever I reinstall it always starts out at 51+ hours but only takes about 3-4 hours in reality. I have a 1.5mb connection but rarely dose it reach full speed. So what I do is set it up to download overnight or in the morning go out and do everything I have to do come back and its done. It is pure hell if you sit there watching it lol.

In short, the estimater isn't very good at estimating <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> If you're watching it and it seems to hang on a file, stop and restart.  But a brand-new install patch could take 5-8 hours.

I just bought and installed the "All-in-One" game package and it took me 2.5 hours from start to when I could hit the PLAY button.  The patching was the worst.  As was stated above, the patcher tends to hang sometimes and if you want to get through the process reasonably fast you have to cancel and then restart it.
