Haven't crafted anything for a few months with my tailor - and got a request for a tier 7 cloak from a guildie - needed 4 more levels so off I went. I had 1 1/2 levels worth of plain and the same of mastercrafted recipes, only 50% to get to the next level so more recipes again, and a 1 hour 55% xp potion (and 100% vitality)

Quaffed the potion and set about crafting - was getting 4% for discovery pristine lvl 60 recipes, 5% for the lvl 61's - it took me all of the plain and all of the mastercrafted leather (didn't have nimbus root spare) recipes to get to 63. I'm sure I used to get more than that much xp with the discovery pristine bonus alone, let alone a 55% xp potion. Got to 63 and 60% using all of the 63 recipes as well.

I distinctly remember having to camp and wait several days for my vitality to regenerate mid potion on a number of occasions as I had levelled twice on a single potion and had run out of vit. Still had 5% left once this one ran out, and I hadn't had any difficult /slow crafts in the hour (one run to the bank to resupply raws though - 12 raws/recipe is rediculous)

Anyone noticed anything similar?

I don't think there was any change in GU36. But T7 does require more effort to level than earlier tiers.

I don't think there were any changes.

My Sage is in mid 60's now and she's getting about 3.5% (maybe little less I don't watch the exp bar too much) per "first time to pristine".

My Woodworker is in mid 50's and gets smidget over 1% per combine. Sorry, I don't remember what she gets for "first time to pristine".

I don't power level, so they have both been in same tier for past month and I didn't notice any difference in their exp gain.

Each Tier requires more XP per level, so each combine goes less far. T1 takes what, 6-9 combines? T7 takes..... scads. That's all. Be sure you've got vitality, get those Pristine bonuses, and grind on, lol. It's not too bad. Back before the XP increase it was taking me 1000 build combines for one level. Really. I counted. But no, there have been no changes, not since they effectively increased XP 300%-ish.

I have been gone for a few months too, and I swear the bonus for pristine has been nerfed a bit. = )

logged in yesterday and did a level of grinding with my tailor (from just into 61 to 62).

was getting 3.6% xp for first time pristines (no xp potions used)

this is about what I would expect at this level.
