I was wondering are there any instance zones you can harvest T6 items from? If not, can we get one?
There are not instance zones we are able to harvest from. By instance I'm assuming zones specifically available for you to harvest from, and you alone, correct? I don't think this idea would go over well with the community, mainly because if it were the case of having instances to harvest from, what would be the point of having nodes anywhere else? If you're asking this due to lack of nodes or being unsure of where to harvest from, don't just stick to Sinking Sands for harvesting. I think Lesser Faydark is also a T6 zone with harvestables also.

I wouldn't be opposed to such zones for T6 raws, but I'm not as outraged by the price of succulent roots as everyone else. I think it's kind of cool that you can expect to make significant money harvesting T6 roots whether you pull any rares or not (but I'm clearly in the minority on that one).

id love that idea mainly because when im trying to harvest some indium for my crafting i have to deal with lvl 70 class/ 1 tradeskill taking up all the nodes so they can sell it back to me. usually theres one havesting anywhere i can harvest without being attacked too often.

i remeber once when i was in my low 40s trying to harvest in rivervale in that area close to the enterence and there was a lvl 70/1 havesting that same area on a carpet with me on foot. i asked him if there was anywhere else he could harvest, seeing as how i was there first and he really could harvest anywhere in any t5 zone, lol basically he told me i could try everfrost. at my lvl there was no good spot in everfrost. but this is what happens in t6 zones too, all the lvl 70 come into the only areas that toons low in that tier can harvest.

theres no way im buying the 4 indium, 3 root, 3 pelts i need to work my lvl when there priced at no less then 25s each. tahts 2g 50s for 1% of my lvl. thats called being ripped off and i dont go for it.

so yeah id love a instance zone where i could clear out some mobs then harvest in piece and not worry about getting as much done before a lvl 70 comes and starts slowing me down.

An instanced zone for harvesting T6 would be awesome. I used to enjoy harvesting, it was relaxing to me, but since hitting T6 its no longer enjoyable. After an hour of trying to scrounge a few metal nodes that high-level folks on carpets have missed, I wind up with tense shoulders and a nice headache starting. Even at 4 o'clock in the morning the competition for nodes is just stupid. I've not yet been to Lesser Faydark, but if its anything like Butcherblock and Steamfont, its hardly an option. Nodes were ridiculously sparse in those zones. Also, since LFay is a 50-60 zone, I doubt it is an option at all until at least level 50 if not 53-54. Another option would be to just add a LOT more nodes to Sinking Sands, but they would look awfully silly sitting around on the sand dunes..

I do Not mean to hijack this - but - where is Cove of Decay? I have visited the tower instance and love the fact that it is there!

And where are SAFE areas to harvest?

I would love to find areas with critters but NO aggro! My characters have ALL out Tiered (craft levels) their Adventure levels and I find it very hard to get to the raws I need.

So - back to the OP - I agree - SAFE harvest zones would be awesome!

From day one I've been hating on the committee of cretins that concocted the raw materials acquisition system for EQ2.

Perhaps a couple of spots on the Isle. As you level up, resources get tougher to acquire. Not impossible, but definately challenging. T7's an absolute bear, but I was harvesting Barren Sky at level 54 when everything saw through my stealth. It's one of the prices you pay for being a pure crafter. It's suposed to be challenging IMO getting raws with no effort, like from a free gnomish vending machine, would be a travesty.
