Place Name Abbreviations?

<p>DPS needed for COV</p><p>Well, what the heck is COV? I'm constantly having to ask people in chat what these places are that people refer to only by abbreviations. Is there a listing anywhere of these places? All I can find are abbreviations like brb, gtg, etc. If no such list exists it would sure be a helpful project for some veteran to undertake.</p>

Crypt of Varsoon, probably.  It can get confusing sometimes, like Blackburrow and Butcherblock are both usually BB, lol.  Even more so if you've never been to the zone.  I can give you a zone list, but I've never seen a zone abbreviation list. <a href="http://eq2.allakhazam.com/db/zonelist.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Zone List.</a>

<p>Some of the common ones I hear off hand are:</p><p>RoV - Ruins of Varsoon</p><p>TS - Thundering Steppes</p><p>Nek - Nektulos Forest</p><p>CL - Commonlands</p><p>FG - Fallen Gate</p><p>CoD - Cove of Decay</p><p>DFC - Deathfist Citadel</p><p>LS - Lavastorm</p><p>MM - Miragul's Minagerie</p><p>PF - Permafrost</p><p>RV - Rivervale</p><p>Sol Eye - Solusek's Eye</p><p>SH - Stormhold</p><p>OoLS - Obelisk of Lost Souls</p><p>WC - Wailing Caves</p><p>EL - Enchanted Lands</p><p>SS - Sinking Sands</p><p>CoI - Court of Innovation</p><p>TT - Tenebrous Tangle</p><p>Lab - Laboratory of Lord Vyemm</p><p>There are more and some that I use that were from EQ1 like GFay and LFay for Greater Faydark and Lesser Faydark, as well as I use BBM for Butcherblock Mountains. </p>
