I upgraded my account about 30 minutes ago, but still can't use the advanced features on EQ2Players like guild chat and such. When I look at my account the change is reflected.

Is this something that won't kick in until tomorrow? Or am I just being really impatient?

Back in the days when I would subscribe to those added services, I would be billed for the time left until the next billing cycle (so, if I subscribed in the middle of a 1-month subscription, they would bill me 50 centes), and service would work within the hour. They might be propagating permission changes only once every hour or every day. I would try the next day if I were you, see if it works then. (For the record - I canceled my added services a few months ago, as a way to protest against the poor services provided by the web team regarding missing/incomplete features).

If it is the next billing cycle, then I'm a bit upset as they just charged me 60 cents for the rest of this month. I was expecting instantaneous - but um.. then I remembered that most of the other websites I belong to don't do things instantly either so I was expecting too much.

Still, I'll try again later and tomorrow. If still nothing tomorrow, then I'll worry about it.

Thanks!

I don't think it's the next billing cycle - I've upgraded in the middle of a billing cycle and had access to the info within minutes. They took EQ2players down on July 5, I believe, for maintenance...could be there's still a hamster missing from a wheel someplace. I'd try back the next day. If it doesn't work by then, I'd call SOE Customer Support about it.

Thanks for brightening my day. /grin
