Rosewood Patch Kit - Possible Bug - Other options?

<p>Ok, this is the player made repiar kit that is all i can ever find on the broker. I was told by other guild mates that this is the repair kit everyone uses in raids and such to repair thier armor and such during long outings. Well last night in HoF i tried twice to repair my equipment. The first time it only repaired a few items since not all my stuff was below 40%. Sadly i did not look at what value it repaired them to ie: 100% or not. The second time all my other gear was at 30% and orange in color. I again used the kit and this time i checked afterwards. It only repaired my gear back up to 40%!!!!  [Removed for Content], isnt this suppose to repair your armor the same as going to a mendor ie: to 100%?  If thats the case... it may be broken and needs to be fixed in a patch.. can anyone else verify my results?</p><p> On a side note, I do recall very recently i bought something called just "Repair Kit" off the broker and it functioned the same and repaired to 100% for sure. I have never seen this item again, for at the time thats what i thought everyone was talking about for repairing armor while on raids and such. Does anyone else know of any other in game repair kits or the like that maybe I just havent been seeing?</p></blockquote>If you read the item description, that is exactly how it is supposed to work.  It repairs all your items up to 40%.  There is a veteran reward that will repair up to 100%.

ah ok so at least its not bugged then. Just think it should got to 100% considering how [Removed for Content] expensive they are. Doesnt seem like much of a benifit to go from 10-30% up only to 40%. Are there serious decreases in effectiveness of items at say 20% vs. 100% or does armor stay the same and still mitigate the same amount of damage and such? I know when they reach 0% the items become unusable.. Anyhow thanks for the info.

<p>they're designed to be used when you reach 0%...no real reason to use them before that...and the cost of repair kits were significantly lowered when EoF was released...</p>

Here they cost like 15g, that is far from expensive, especially if you compare to their earlier prices. If they would repair all your armor to 100%, all high level players wouldn't use mender aynmore.
