How about making PvP go away, forever? Failing that, make it consensual only. I do not want to be spending my time on EQ2 looking over my shoulder for fear that a PC 4-8 levels higher than me will sneak up and gank me. I made the mistake of creating my first character on Vox, and mere moments after I made level ten I was blindsided by another PC. The sad thing was, this happened in the Scale Yard, a place that I expected to be safe from harm.

Ouch. Publicly PWND by logic. That's got to suck.

Now now, no need to be snippy about it. As I said, rolling my first character on Vox was a mistake, a mistake I soon fixed by deleting the character and taking up residence on Lucan D'Lere. I've been happy here, and I do not believe that I'll ever roll another character on a PvP server. Too bad about losing the Strange Bottle, though. I might do a /petition and ask that I be allowed to re-claim that item.

I'm glad you found a happy home. Personally I play on a PvE server too as PvP isn't my cup of tea

- K

PS: I would like to point out that what I've said here is based on statements made by long-time players who have stated that their gaming experience took a downturn due to PvP balancing bleeding over to PvE. It is possible that they were just uselessly grumbling without understanding the truth of the matter, in which case my statements on this issue are meaningless and would be retracted with an apology.

I don't see how PvP balancing could affect PvE, since spell effects for the two modes are separate. Powers &8^]

That alone is enough for me to hate PvP and anyone that likes it. A bunch just farm alts for tokens to get better gear than EoF raid fabled sets because they don't want to work for it anyway.

On horses. completely ruined the feel of the game for me. Im glad they removed it, and its not because Im on a pvp server.

Please read the forum rules if you fail to understand what trolling is, or just pm me and i can explain it better.

ohh and if you think most farm alts for tokens you are sadly mistaken, since you dont pvp or have a high level pvp toon. i really think your information is lacking to this extent.

There was a bug that while in windowed mode allowed you to super jump, the bug exsisted from launch until about 3 months into the game, at wich point they fixed it, this was almost a YEAR befor any type of PvP was introduced into this game, wich means that the Super Jump "tricks" would have evenutally been FIXED wither or not there was PvP, maybe having PvP made them fix it an LU or 2 faster but it would have been fixed reguardless of PvP. Besides getting High Chests was not the only thing you could do with them, you could also avoid some content.
