View Full Version : EoF AA Tree - Cures
<p>This is mostly a poll to see if anyone picked or is utilizing the Cures line in the Mystic AA Tree.</p><p>Myself personally picked it soon after EoF came out but soon realized that it was a waste of points. This may have been instigated by the fact that with 5 points spent in one of them, the ward that it provided was only like 150 points and it only warded vs the damage type that it cured.</p><p>For 5 points, there are many more benificial abilitys to spend points on. Maybe its me and I am not looking at it properly. But the real question here is, am I missing something or is this line a pure waste of space and re-evaluated by Dev?</p>
<p>I was just thinking of something they could do, as a chance to the current abilities. Instead of gicing our cures a ward, reverse it, give our wards and heals curing abilities. There are other AA lines that gain additional benifits as they raise in AA ranks. Do this for our heals and wards.</p><p>3 levels of cures: ------------------ Rank 1: poison, disease, cold & heat Rank 2: magic, divine, mental, slashing, crushing & piercing Rank 3: Daze, Root, Stun, Fear & Stifle</p><p>Level 1: -------- Enhance: Learned Healing Effect: Dispells 90 levels of <See Above> based on ranks - inclusive.</p><p>Enhnace: Rejuvenating Rite Effect: Dispells 90 levels of <See Above> based on ranks - inclusive.</p><p>Enhance: Ethereal Aegis Effect: Dispells 90 levels of <See Above> based on ranks - inclusive.</p><p> Level 2: Must have spent 5 points in Cures -------- Enhance: Umbral Liturgy Effect: Dispells 90 levels of <See Above> based on ranks - inclusive.</p><p>Enhance: Transcendence Effect: Dispells 90 levels of <See Above> based on ranks - inclusive.</p><p> Level 3: Must have spent 10 points in Cures -------- Enhance: Oberon Effect: Dispells 90 levels of <See Above> based on ranks per pulse - inclusive.</p><p>Enhance: Torpor Effect: Dispells 90 levels of <See Above> based on ranks per pulse - inclusive. </p>

I had been using the cure line, but since they nerfed(I mean adjusted) the cure speed improvement, and took both debuffs off the line, I dropped it and am trying wisdom out instead. I guess neither of the debuffs were super, but they where something for the non-melee mystic. And instead they replaced them with yet another melee mystic line. If the mob is beating on me, I did something wrong. I do like having some survivability when that happens, but value comes in frequency of use. The HP(unconsious HP that is) buf to the entire group was tempting, and may yet win me back. I'm sure with that line I could have kept a death toll group alive through the eyeballs and a druid that apparently didn't know he had cures at all. But with out the cure line seemed like all I could do to cycle through curing group, group heal, group ward, repeat. I tend to think some of my group members were not well equiped for that dot though. And I'd been having such luck with pickup raids before that one. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
