Hi, new to Coercer and was wondering what are some of the community considered staples of the AAs to have while leveling, soloing and group. Thanks.

I like the coercer tree to the left (sry cant log in atm so I write from memory). I put all my first aa points into improving my Stuns, Stifles etc so they are maxed. Despite the fact I love to be able to save the day with some timely mezzes when things go bad, stun and stifle is what I use the most. So I aimed to improve the single target and group versions of these first.

Next, I go for the Chronomancy ability in the Enchanter tree. It makes me casting faster and the opponent slower and I use it all the time.

As for endlines, I went for Thought Snap and Coercive Healing, since I play a lot in groups. Then Perpetuality, since I rarely have aggro and mana issues, so I love being able to cast as fast as possible.

/Ramborg, 63 coercer, Venekor

Ok, this is the way i went. This was on a pvp server though, but I wouldnt have changed it really even if it was on pve. I put my first 40 points into the Coercer tree. This is how I went -

5 Charm

5 Stun

5 Root

5 Despotic Mind

2 (6 AA's) Haruspex

5 Gloom

5 Damaged Psyche

1 Tashiana

2 (6 AA's) Spell lash

Then I went over to the KoS tree, going down Agi , now im almost finished with Wis, then ill put my last 7 AA's into improving Mindbend and getting Coercive Healing.

My logic for my progression was Less breakage on charm = great. Then the improved roots and stuns helped me in pvp and pve. Improving despotic mind was a pvp thing, but the improved haruspex means 1 cast of it will kill a yellow mob, with very little extra help. Then I improved the resistance things, as my level was starting to get higher, and therefore the % based AAs give more for the points you put into them. Tashiana was great. throw it just after youve put down your reactive for a decent boost to damage, or use it to help with an initial charm.

I didnt see much point in the Agi line early on, having improved defense and casting speed wasnt really that important. Now that im grouping a bit more its coming more in handy. The wis line has come at a perfect time. The boost to subjugation means at 61 im able to charm and reliably hold the higher level mobs.

I should get Coercive Healing just before I hit 70 and really start grouping.
