ok, im completely lost of how to get maxiumum avoidance.

Heres the thing, if theres a cap on stats, how can I get more avoid, if my cap for agi is maxed? Like for instance im lvl 23, so the cap is 181 agi. And I've got more than that, but it doesnt' go into effect. So basically if everybody had that much agi, without any adorn/aa or w/e it would all be the same amount of avoid right? Well what can I do besides max out my agi to get more avoid? Like I already have all the adorns, Got the +3 parry for forearms, have the +27 vs crush/slash etc etc, on both writs, and some other agi adorns, and the cloakc with the vs crush. So besides aa is there anything I can do to get it higher? cuz Im kinda weak on aa, only like 13 atm. *and yes I do have all my parry defense etc skills maxed. and M1 defensive stance and any other thing that gives deflection parry or w/e m1. I now have like 63 avoidance *which is still a good bit, but I want higher*. And agi is the only one to increase avoid right? Please help anything else I can do to get it higher

Hmmmm... First off, the max benefit from a stat is 15x level... so at 23 you'd have around 345 before it gives NO benefit. However, there's diminished returns at around the 200 mark for you, so it's probably not worth increasing Agility anymore considering what you'd have to give up. As for the rest.. Avoidance is broken down into four parts (any one class gets only at most 3 at a time). 1. Defense, which is based off Agility and has diminished returns at around 60-70% of the max (which is 15xlevel). 2. Block, which is based off your shield. Brawlers don't get this.. 3. Deflection, which is based off your Deflection skill. Only brawlers get this. 4. Parry, which is based off the Parry skill. Both parry and deflection will get more if you are over your normal amount given per level (5xlevel), but this also suffers from diminished returns. As it is though, it's hard to hit the diminished returns point on skills unless you combine defensive stance, AA's AND a ton of gear that boost the skills. All this aside, avoidance is something Brawlers have in abundance. Just being in defensive stance and maybe picking some AA's that give avoidance (Parry is a favorite because it increases Riposte chance), you'll be swimming in avoidance. 63% is fairly good, and especially for your level. The key to any game is to shore up your weaknesses. As a tank you need to be able to do two things, survive hits and hold aggro. Surviving hits is built up out of 3 things... avoidance, mitigation, and hitpoints. We already have a lot of avoidance, so it's a good idea to find things that increase our low mitigation (which are hard to find other than adornments), and getting higher hitpoints is always good to survive the spike damage.
