Quick question from a returning player

First off, I'm very impressed with all the changes to the game.  I left way back around release (around the time they added mailboxes), and the game has certainly come a long way. There's one thing that I sort of miss from other MMORPGs though...Round Robin looting.  Am I just missing an option somewhere, or is there some close approximation that people have been able to come up with?  Short of going master looter, or just realizing you're not going to see much from a group run, there doesn't seem to be an easy way within the game to force semi-equitable looting.

Yeah round robin style looting would be awesome. In practice, lotto distributes stuff reasonable evenly although not perfectly "fairly". Also, almost every group I've ever been in has strictly stuck to the need before greed ethic so if something is an upgrade for you, you can be nearly certain that you will get it just by asking. Sometimes you run into jerks that take stuff they can't use or won't give an upgrade to someone who needs it. I add them to my ignore list and refuse to group with them in the future <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Also, coin is auto-split between group members so even if you aren't winning rolls you still getting as much coin as everyone else from the mobs.
