Stop the Gnoll Racism!

<p>    As Najena's only Gnoll Templar, it saddens me of the great amounts of racism I am forced to endure on a regular basis.  Yes, I am forced to stand by and watch as evil CATS are allowed to buy horses, magic carpets, and even DOGS to ride on, but poor gnolls are left walking everywhere.</p><p>    I only managed to get a horse by using my Barbarian Illusion.  But I can't dare ride it in my true form, I'd likely get stopped by the authorities.</p><p>    Won't you please fix this massive injustice?</p><p> Sincerely, </p><p>Lowfyr Wildforge </p><p>Dog of Zek</p>

Gnolls are cool. I do hope they become playable at some time as well. We'll just have to see...heck, we got the Sarnak to become playable this November.

I must say that it is pretty strange to see a canine race as the evil race and a feline race as the good race. It usually plays out that way in games too... There is always good and bad in any race, even the savages. Why not allow us to eventually play a canine race? Anyway, that's my opinion and I'm talking in circles - not wearing my glasses and can hardly see the computer.</span>

We get playable dragons in the next expatiation, maybe you could petition for gnolls as a playable race.  It could happen.

I would like to think that opinions like mine (in other words, those of the faerie/fae lovers) somewhat influenced the devs to create the Fae... I genuinely feel this development team listens to us... If you want playable gnolls, go for it. Let your opinion be known... Come up with your thoughts on them, how they could be worked in, etc.... just share your thoughts with the team. They totally read these things.</span>

<span style="font-size: small; font-family: comic sans ms,sand">I am always glad to hear suggestions about a new playable race. I like Zabjade's suggestion about The Icepaw Gnolls of Veilous. After Kunark is all said and done and we are headed elsewhere. Veilous would be great and the addition of gnolls as a playable race would make it even better. Just to throw in my 2cp - As long as we get gnolls and orcs eventually. Ooooh playable IceFang gnolls is a fantastic idea. And in the same starting city you could choose to start as a ice dwarf as well.. . Just like any other dwarf but allowed to choose ice as a skin and hair color kind of like the Arasai are variants of the Fae with different customization choices.
