So now that it has been revealed that the hate gained by Enraging demeanor only stacks with Dirge to 50%, where has it left you all? I havent been in the MT group once since and I wanna know how it has effected the rest of you?

Well when we don't a second hate xfer class we run the dirge and coercer in there even with the cap. We have been playing as though there was a 50% cap for a long time now in my guild and it didn't change much for us on group make-up other than not harm linking the moderated players =p. We run the Coercer in the MT group and the Dirge in the melee dps group and swap them for their specialy abilities when needed.. ie stoneskin, parry, AoE immunity \ Thoughtsnap, power regen, coersive healing...

In the Guardian forums, Jaraxx suggested putting hate gain on the hate transfer. So either your Dirge or Coercer hate gain buffs the Assassin or Swashy. Make sense?

Technically it shouldn't matter because hate is gained and transferred throughout a fight, presumably on multiple occasions, not just once. Seems like a viable tactic and would at least be worth a shot instead of wasting all that hate gain.

Assuming your hate transfer is putting up some decent DPS numbers, that is...

this is assuming you have a dirge coercer AND a swash/assasin in the group right?

Correct, whoever has the best hate gain buff (what is the Dirge M1 hate gainer? is it 49%? vs. the Coercer which is about 47%) should buff the tank. Dirge hate gain buffs MT, coercer hate gain buffs assassin/swashy. Then you get all the benefits of the dirge AND the coercer in the MT group (Thoughtsnap, coercive healing, etc). With a uber hate trasnfer-er you can really pile the hate on.

from experimenting with amends and moderate.. I feel the theory of the aggro modifier works first then is is xfered and visa versa. I do not have hard evidence to prove this other than with moderate and amends I could not pull mobs to the palidin to save my life on a Mayong event. I had to actually drop the moderate to get it to come at all. When moderate was dropped the mobs did go to the paladin. I do not know a way to show any math for it other than to have others try a similar experiment. As far as I know no one has confirmed the order things work only speculation. The logical assumption to me is that aggrois modified before it even comes in first then it is xfered. I think the trio of xfer coercer dirge would be a good combo. We tend to hold "ok" (cept the warlock and SK) with assassin and Coercer most fights but Would be nice to do some experimenting with the trio..
