I know there are some lower level ones given by the Indigo Brotherhood guys above the crafting area but I believe once you get to a certain level, he doesn't offer them anymore and gives you a quest to get them from the woman you already met.

Indigo brotherhood

the temple

the mage guild

the rogue guild

You have visited all these places while doing the quest to activate the teleportation discs.

If you have a writ from a group you have to complete it before you get a new one.

But do the groups have faction like the Freeport ones do?

Ebon Mask, Indigo Brotherhood, the library, and the spires of inoruuk. only the library had writs. I am level 23

Baalazamon wrote:
But do the groups have faction like the Freeport ones do?
There's only one faction for Neriak, unlike Freeport, Qeynos, and Kelethin. Although I hear that Neriak will soon have a seperate tradeskill faction.

I have a question that hopefully someone can answer.I recently betrayed to Neriak from Qeynos, and I have tried all of the faction houses and cant get writs anywhere from any of the npc's. Freeport offer me writs but I dont really want to travel there to do them or I would have betrayed to FP.Im a 34 bruiser, any ideas on where to get writs for Neriak?ThanksOhh and is there anywhere in neriak to hand in seals and amulets for status?

Both cities are evil. You just need to do another citizenship quest for your call of the overlord. And as for status items.. I agree! While its not a long trip by any means. It'd be really convenient to have a merchant for these in Neriak. The class trainers are already there after all.

Yeah I can actually get writs in FP, just dont want to go there to get them each time, Id rather pick them up in neriak as I am a citizen there now but cant seem to find any writs. Ive read that they start at 1 npc and progress as you level moving you on to other npc's the higher you get. Its different from other city writ givers in that its only 1 at a time rather than several different ones. And I found an npc in Neriak to sell seals etc for status, its in the building in dockside markets (I think) where the guild registrar is and the heraldry guy are found. He bought all my seals and amulets for status earlier on today.

Ive tested it a bit now as im also a bit frustratet that im only able to get 1 writ at a time. (And running half zone out, jumping over 3 zones to FP to get more isnt quite comfortable). At lvl20+ (i did first writs with 21) i got ONLY writs in the library from the women upstairs, even if i had no active writ none of the other places gave me one.At lvl25 she did sent me down to the main hall of the library, still no writs from anyone else.At lvl30 i was then sent to the spire of Inooruk, where i now get one writ. But i no more get any writ at the library. Also i checked again Brotherhood, that Vampire thing and the citadel. No writs there.Additionally when you read a bit the stories going around in Freeport its a blame that there is just one Faction, those 4 dont like each other. There are quests like you get a necklace at lvl30 when you did the last writ for the library, then go to the Spire and they disenchant you that necklace as it was "slowly draining your soul", and so on...There really should be the same 4 writ possibilities as in the other cities, or the writs should take 4-5 times longer and give 4 times the status.@Spiderbite: do you end then up having 2 call spells or do you exchange the call of neriak against the call of FP?

I have the DoF expansion (as should most who purchased EoF) so per the suggestion of another here on the forums, I started jumping the carpet in DLW over to SS and then to Freeport. Still sort of a hike but not as much foot work as the x2 griffon rides and jaunt through CL.

Writs in Neriak work like Quest Series. You can only get writs from the appropriate person according to your level. Once you out-level that Writ Giver they will send you to the next and you won't be able to get writs from them any longer. This continues until you have reached the 4th and final Writ Giver.

yeah thanks for your replies guys ....much appreciated.I have read the eq2i page and checked all of those npc's and not one of them will give me a writ at all.Ive wasted quite a lot of time checking these out in game, just thought there might have been something else I missed. If I find out any more about who/where I can start getting writs in Neriak I'll post here. In the meantime, Im happy to hear any more ideas, thanks

Fringe wrote:
This continues until you have reached the 4th and final Writ Giver.
So it really ends at lvl55 or so ?!? Arent there any high levels from "The Dead" or so?

I believe that it does continue to a 5th Writ Giver (The Dead) but I haven't found any info to verify that and I personally haven't gotten that far yet.

He's in a building in the dockside market section of Neriak. Ask on of the guards for city merchant.
