Coming from WoW, I view these AAs as Talent points, points accumulated to customize you're toon. But one of the best things about them, is that for a small fee you can reset them, trying everything out to see what you like best... so all in all my question is, in eq2, can AA points be reset and if they can, how? thanks for any help.

Yeah you can reset them. I am not sure how the price goes up but it goes up fast so not sure if it comes back down. Ask a guard about achievements and that will lead you to the person to do it. I only know of the one in Neriak but I am sure every city has one somewhere.

The achievement respec NPC tends to hang out in the mage guild area of your local city. In Freeport it is the bottom floor of the Arcane Library in North Freeport. In Qeynos it would be in the mage tower in South Qeynos? (I don't play Qeynos toons much. The place reminds me of too sugary sweets that give me gut cramps.) Pretty sure the price starts out at 1g > 10g > 1plat > 10plat cap. It resets to 1g after a 30days of no respecs.
