Greetings. I'm a new Illusionist, and am somewhat concerned about the duration of mez. I'm currently lvl 15, and while trance provides a significant upgrade to sleep, I still find it hard to keep more than 2 or 3 adds mezzed. Is there any way to increase the duration or recast time of trance? thanks in advance.

<p>at this lvl i had a hard time too, but don't worry, just go on your way.</p><p>with progressing into next tier(s) you will become much more efficient. at 24 orso you'll get your first grp-mezz, which will make your life MUCH easier. also, when you're lvling up, the duration of your mezzes will increase with every spellreplacement. plus, in mid-tiers you'll get an additional mezline + a pbaoe-shorttime-mezz, which will help you at least, keeping things under control.</p><p>can't remember exactly, because i started in KOS with spending my AAs, but there ARE in illusionist-tree AAs that increase duration for some seconds (+ resistability i believe)...but i actually never had any issues on that. i was just looking foward of hitting mid20ies, knowing that i get my first encountermezz there which makes the enhancements of the singlemezz-line (not useless, but) not really needed</p>

If your concerned with the mez duration you can spend 5 pts into the EoF tree to increase your primary mez duration by 7.5 seconds and 25% harder to resist. This should add an additional mez for you. ATM I have sucessfully chain locked 5 creatures down using mostly primary mez. But theoretically should be able to lock down 7-8 (this is really hard to manage tho). And thats w/o using any group-mez tricks.

<p>Good news is, the higher you level, the less you will mez. I might mez something once a week at 70.</p>
