Hi guys. I just started with the game, so I am absolutly newbie here. I don't want to spend bad my achievement points. I used one in the druid tree to get the Shapeshift. And I don't know how to spend the next points. My objetive now is level, do quest, etc. I use to solo the most of time so I need to improve the skills to solo. Can I have some advices about how to spend this points?

It sounds like specing for DPS will provide you the best benefit. In the Druid tree, go down the INT line completely, maxing out the % damage crits box and picking up Infusion. In the Fury tree, go down the Vortex line (the far right line). These two lines will signficantly enhance your DPS.

As for where to put the other points, it's really a matter of personally preference. In the Druid tree I would suggest either the AGI line (for faster HoT ticks and of course Tortise Shell will come in handy later in life) or the STA line (for % heal crit increases). The WIS line is another alternative for Rebirth, but personally I find this ability useless, especially in a solo setting. In the Fury tree, I would recommend going down the Animalism tree - it's extremely handy to be able to regen power just by beating on a mob.

I would highly recommend the AGI and INT lines in the KoS tree. You get the dps boost from the INT line and now that they tweaked the AGI line, your HoT's will tick for more health and be faster as well...hard to pass that up, and of course Tortoise Shell

I went with int for the dmg increase from crit hits which is really nice and the crit chance works on all our dmg spells(nova, TS, dot, dmg shield, rof, cos, etc.) Then if you go down Energy in Fury AA line and put points in Twister and Thunderbolt, you can really do some dmg. I also went down the Wis line and I hate to say but it is mainly for the run speed increase. I absolutely hate riding a mount (carpet, warg, etc.) So with Sow, Jboots and AA increase, I get 40% base which is good enough to keep up with most folks. I thought our Fury AA Predator gave speed also but that is only in-combat. I have Cheetah Master 1 so when its up, I hit that and Sprint and get 100% for short distance which is fun. I tried Str line and even got all Str gear and good weapon and while its fun and can be useful in soloing and such, the dmg output still does not match that of the INt line, especially when you can use root now. I've also tried the Charm Animal line but again, the charmed animal is a base level mob once charmed and does relatively low dmg but it is fun to have a pet.

I had mine maxed at 35%. The thing is that it doesn't stack with SoW or Jboots/animist treads, but does stack with Pact of Cheetah. I'm not sure if it stacks with the WIS line run speed as I have never gone down that line so that might explain why you still are at 40%.

As for AA runspeed: maxed out Hierophant Movement gives you +10%. Maxed out Enhance Peerless Predator gives you +35%. If you keep the Peerless Predator buff line up all the time (and why wouldn't you?), you will have a constant 45% runspeed with this spec. Of course, SoW will become something you only cast on others, since it doesn't stack with this speed increase, but you'll get 100% runspeed with Adept 3 or higher Pact of the Cheetah up. With Adept I PotC, you'll get 93% I believe. And either way, you'll have 85% sprint speed.

When I put points in the EOF AA Predator, I was looking at my run speed in the Player window and it did not go up from the 40% I had showing from sow, jboots and Wis line AA. Maybe since it does not stack with SOW it was not showing the increase? I might have to respec as it would be nice to have 45% all the time and not have to cast Sow or wear JBoots.

Jboots and enhanced peerless predator do not stack.
You have to max out Peerless Predator aa line and the Wis speed line to get the 45%. As been said in this thread, nothing stacks with Peerless predator except for Pact of Cheetah. So, if you have your setup with jboots/SoW/WIS line aa and you put 3 points into Peerless Predator (21% increase), that 21% won't be added to your current 40%. It would 21% + 10% = 31%. Basically, SoW/Jboots/Wis line aa/peerless predator speed buffs will overlap each other...so you'll get the benefit from which combo gives you the most speed.

I respec'd to get the 45%. Basically its like this 1. Sow(20%) + JBoots(10%) + Wis AA Hierophant Movement (10%) = 40% or you can do: 2. Wis AA Hierophant Movement (10%) + Fury AA Enhanced Predator (35%) = 45% Sow and Jboots do not stack with the Fury AA Predator line.

To make it easy: in-combat modifiers do not stack with out of combat modifiers. That's all you need to know, from there do the math.

Is there a suggested order for AA points for a solo/damage build? I only have earned 4 points so far, and put one in druid and 3 in the rightmost fury line, as I don't believe in relying on crits.

Umm, I have Wis AA and Predator AA for 45% speed now. When I cast SOW my speed stays at 45%(at least that's what it says in the Player window). Shouldn't it be 65% with SOW? I used to run with Wis AA, Sow and Jboots for 40% speed so i know Sow works with Wis AA. Why then would SOW not work with WisAA/Predator AA combo? Maybe Sow only works with one of the AA lines but not both combined? Seems more than one person is running at 55% with Predator and Sow so assuming that does work.

The respec means I dropped the 10% speed boost from the WIS line so dropped to just 35% run speed boost from Enhanced Predator. I cast Spirit of the Wolf on myself and .... nothing, still at 35%. I'd love to run at 55% so perhaps one the those quoting that speed can give us a breakdown of their full AA spec in both trees, and if possible a screenie to quieten the doubting Tommies. Thanks. Oh, and apologies for continuing to steal/side-track the OP - but the SoW discussion is here so .... Anyway, in answer to the OP I went opened with just updating INT & WIS to 4 each - just to increase damage and power in early levels. Then I tried to update the first 3 of the Animalism line. I followed that up with completing the WIS line, as I wanted rebirth. I regretted that. Rebirth has just had me die twice, instead of just the once, on all occasions I've used it (only ever used it in groups or raids, solo I can just run away!). So, respec'd to INT line for critical damage, and then did WIS up to but not including Rebirth. INT & WIS, to me, are the Fury's basics - they should come first. Now with some more AA under my belt I've pumped another 5 points into Animalism to try out Animal Form. I did a respec from WIS to AGI based on the first reply received in this post, was interesting but for me it didn't work out so I've respec'd back to WIS. I think what I'd suggest is reading the various posts and then chosen route. Make a choice and head down that route until you have plenty of AA spent and can make up your own mind on whether that spec is working for you. Don't keep coming back to the forums as there are so many opinions that you'll end up like me and continue to respec back and forth.

Anyone tried the STR line for early leveling? Seems somewhat viable on paper. Doing melee damage also frees up my power for more healing in groups (plus a chance to aoe heal on melee hit).

Hi guys, Read the post often but never reply. Had to "chime" in on this one though. I also run at 55%. and have since the last patch. You can achieve it very simple 5pts in predator and stack it with sow. Now one thing to keep in mind, I play on nagafen, and they took away our in combat run speed during pvp, so predator is no longer "in combat" run speen on a pvp server. Pretty sure that is the difference.

Sow stacks with the predator line ONLY on PvP servers. For PvE servers it works differently and it's working as intended.
