Hello all,

I managed to sell a couple of things through my merchant board and I have a gold and a bit coming to me (woohoo) but I don't know how to take the cash from the board and into my threadbare pocket. Is there a button somewhere or do I ave to wait awhile before the transaction is processed? Scratching my head on this one. Can anyone help out the poor and ignorant?

Each box you sell from has its own button so to speak. Unfortunately I use a custom UI, so I can't tell you precisely where it is. But it is on the market board (same place where you can actually see the boxes and the list of what is in them). I hope you can find it even with my not so good explanation

Thanks everyone. I will give it a try tonight. I am using the regular interface but there is a lot to grasp in this game and it seems as if understanding the economy is important. This forum and the community are invaluable to get you through those "doh!" moments though.

A lot of player complain that low level stuff is so overprized because of the transmuters, however in the end if you sell your stuff for the same prices as common, you will end up with much much more money then you could make back in the days

I tend to sell it as low as possible. I know some of the richer players will buy it, but I hope another player can actually use it, and not a transmuter. My own crafted goods, I sell low, and make lots of it. I know how hard it is to find food and drinks that will help you with your combat and spell casting needs. I know I won't make lots of plats this way, but at least you don't have to use conjoured food and drinks, or NPC vendor food and drinks.

Darnit, and here I thought I could answer this one, but our fabulous community tackled it before I could. By the way, overpricing makes the baby Innoruuk cry. ~Gnobrin!

The Sell Tab in the market board should have a "Take Coin" option. As for the topic of overpricing, there are 2 ways to combat this. Use NPC food (since some NPC do have stats on their food) for your first few levels (mainly if soloing) I found this a cheap and viable way to save money, or craft your own, not only does this help you raise your various gathering skills, its helps ya get some easy Tradeskill levels.

Aside from that...buy low...turn off auto consume(it is EVIL) and sell stuff at the current price range to keep those transmuters at bay.
