This ain't the first time this has been mentioned. But yeah, I''m with ya.

There's werid thing I've noticed with mounts. I tend to favour humans and medium sized chaarcters, and haven't studied it so it may not be the case with every race and every mount, but, they can exagerate the size differences. If you look at where the feet of the different races come to in relation to their mount, it's different. With some large races on some mounts the feet dangle around the mounts ribs, whereas some of the more diminuitive races have feet dangling beneath the mounts chest. That means smaller races are, to ratio, on even smaller mounts than a shrunken medium sized race, while large races are on even larger mounts than, to ratio, they would require.

I'd have thought it would be natural to provide them with mounts that scale in the other direction, thereby highlighting their own racial size difference with their own smallness or largeness in comparisn to their mount. Large races still getting larger than medium sized mounts, and corresponding stunted mounts for the smaller than average races, but not as exagerated as they currently are. I'd have thought seeing Ogres having feet that almost reach the floor, while halflings appear to do all they can to stay in the saddle would be more reinforcement of their racial choice. It'd also mean Ogres on a Warg don't obscure the view to all but mountains too.
