How exactly should it work? From reading it's description the damage limit had been removed and it's a flat 10 seconds now. It's also supposed to take mitigation into account now? I'm probably misinterpreting something or not understanding something (a common occurance), but it doesn't seem to be doing either. This is what I am seeing (not actual logs, obviously): a Tunarian guard hits YOU for 243 points of slashing damage! a Tunarian guard hits YOU for 361 points of slashing damage! a Tunarian guard hits YOU for 275 points of slashing damage! a Tunarian guard hits YOU for 482 points of slashing damage! ** I cast Divine Aura ** Your stoneskin absorbs 2,834 points of slashing damage! Your stoneskin absorbs 1,976 points of slashing damage! Your stoneskin absorbs 2,045 points of slashing damage! ...and so on and so forth. It seems that the damage being reported as being absorbed by Divine Aura is far greater than what I was taking prior to activating it. Also, it doesn't seem to last the 10 seconds every time (though the ability description no longer mentions a damage absorption cap). How is this supposed to work? Is the above what should be happening and I'm just not "getting it"? Someone please explain to me what I am missing here/where I am getting confused. It would be much appreciated.

I haven't checked against anything that would normally hit for a large amount of damage like an epic encounter. I was just thinking that if the damage was being mitigated first before being applied to DA, that DA would be reporting that it is absorbing damage in the hundreds for those particular mobs (what they were hitting me for prior to activating DA) and not all of a sudden in the thousands. Good call on the /bug. I'll keep an eye out on the boards today for any other discussion on it and /bug it when I get home tonight.

Haven't had a chance to test it out, but I will likely be doing it on tonight's raid (unless we need my Inquis more). If not I'll test it out over the week for sure. This is one ability I was super eager to see in action, so I'll be give it a thorough testing for sure.

Stoneskin will *always* report the original hit, as it originated from the Mob, not what *could would should* have struck you depending on your gear and mitigation.

The change to Divine Aura, is only that, now, it will check your mitigation, before it lets a attack go through.

So In theory, SK has 10,000 HP, 50% Mit.

Mob whacks SK for 9000 Dmg. *Stone Skin Absorbed 9000 Damage* (Obviously way over half your health, BUT, actually, only 4500 of that damage would have *really* struck you, so insetad it gets absorbed, as it follows the 50% health after mitigation rule).

/Shadarr

Okies, finally got to give it a good testing. I did a pull on Tender without clearing everything in EH first floor. Got the massive zone add rush. Had trouble getting more than 30 hits against me within the 10 seconds (to confirm the hit limit removal), but I did get one with 28 Hits landed varying from 140 to 9600 dammage logged (pre-mitigation)....everything absorbed. The dammage is just listed pre-miti filter. Tested it a bunch more times afterwards. Great ability. Did a pull on the Mistress of Veils. pre-warded, led with Despoil, DA, then Deathmarch while pulling to a designated spot a good distance away. Had the full 10 seconds to get safely positioned, pop off an extra taunt and AOE, then dispell the Mob's dammage shield off, before having to worry about anything.
