Just betrayed over to an SK and I was wondering about the Dark Caress line, the description says it increases agro, but there isn't anything about that in the power details, is the agro only from the damage? Thanks for any answers

It procs the damage and a taunt. 100% proc on hit too, so arguably more "reliable" than a guard or zerk. But, it's for a smaller amount than a warrior's taunt-on-hit. Still. . . .get a group of mobs beating on you for a few seconds, toss your AE's, and even a warlock starts having trouble ripping things off you.

Found why I was confused, apparently on Nagafen or maybe every pvp server, they removed the taunt component of the spell, apparently for pvp as well as pve.

Which is utterly stupid, because sks were built to keep aggro with dps in pve. This does not work at all in pvp, and what do they do? They remove one of our taunts. Yeayy!

If it was changed only for pvp, the extra taunt factor should show up in the spell description still, but not when the pvp checkbox is filled in. In pvp that sort of taunt would be broken, since against a player once you had them taunted the only way for them to change targets would be to stop attacking you until the target lock was done.

Even that much wouldnt be broken, since that's basicallyw hat guardians have now. Put it on a 25% proc chance or something, just dont flat out remove one of the few taunts we have, since pure dps is in no way letting me keep aggro in pvp.
