SUP? I was just wondering if i could get some tips from all the warden pvp players out there, if i could get some tips, casting orders, gear to wear, do you change gear in battle for piffrent procs, anything? Also aa lines, which ones first, i want to stay at lvl 12-14 for as long as posible to build faction so that in the higher lvls i can have the pvp gear. I currently have a lvl 10 warden, combat xp off, to get aa and from some of my other chars, i will have a little platage to spend. Any pointers?

Early-Mid teens, maybe even late, it may be best to stick as a melee warden and go on the EoF movement AAs.

You start out with Root to 3, then max Spirit of the Wolf to 5, go back to root to 5, then do Snare to 3. Even after GU36, our nukes are still strong. I only recommend going melee warden once you get 26 AAs. 5 for Spirit of the wolf, 20 for the melee line and 1 for 75% melee critical. It is interesting to note, however, that melee warden received a huge boost as of GU36. I will outline these below:

1: Many of our KoS combat abilities no longer require specific weapon types. I heard that some, however, cross-line, hold the same recast timer. Can someone confirm this?

2: Our melee-procced AE healing ability received theoretically exactly or practically approximately a 40% effectiveness boost. While it now procs twice as much, it only heals for 70% the amount it did before. 1*2*.7=1.4=40%boost.

3: The STR end line combat ability received a boost, and cannot be prevented from dealing damage, from my knowledge.

4: None of our melee combat nukes receive a penalty in PvP combat any longer. Before, they received a nerf of around 88% effectiveness, and now it's 100% effective in PvP. This is in contrast to our regular nukes which received approximately a 10% nerf in combat. This will definitely put your average per melee nuke strike well above your average per regular nuke strike (even with int line offensive spell criticals). On top of that, simply using all the combat abilities available to us will usually provide so much more dps if you just cycle through them, then start curing.

Level to 12 and get your first M2 spell choice, is my advice - also armor with better mitigation than at level 10 (the levels are so close it won't matter if you do. You can level to 12 in an hour or 2). You also start to have better mastercrafted choices, and better dropped weapon things.

I know that if you get started leveling it's hard to stop, but I'd really advise leveling to 25 then locking till you have as much faction as you want. At level 10, you aren't really 'a Warden'. The class-defining Wolf spell (Steward of the Forest) that you get at 20, ups your mitigation by a very nice amount..AND allows you to see invis - both items you can admit would be helpful. At 22 you can take that spell as a M2 choice, which I suggest you do.

You can't use see stealth totems till 20 - and a healer that can see both Stealth AND Invis is a happy camper, trust me. You get portals at 25, also good to have. Get all that, level lock, and pwn faces (unless you are Qeynos..then die in a fire!!)(/rp).

Mastercrafted STR armor if you are going melee, and mastercrafted bling will save you questing time. But I really suggest you DO quest to get as many AAs as possible. You aren't going to be able to get a ton of them, but you will have a nice amount. Put 8 in STR, 8 in WIS, then start down the EoF melee lines if you are going to be a melee warden. If you aren't meleeing, put 8 in STA, 8 in WIS, then start down the EoF Movement line.

Armor quest armor is also very good and allows for very nice PvP chances, since everyone is out getting it at that level AND everyone is camping the folks getting it too.

That should hold you over till you are ready to unlock - but I'm old skool. I just want to slap level 12 Dreadnaughts..LOL (just kidding!)

GL with pvping ...unless...of course..you are Qeynosian or Exile

<3 Arie
