IMPORTANT NOTE: This thread is about the feature shown above/below, NOT plat spam or anything else. Please keep your comments on-topic or you will be reported for abuse. There is already a thread about plat spam here: http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=363310 I'd love to be able to block tells from players less than a specified level, if they're not on my friends list. Optional of course, just like /afk. Make it similar to /afk where I can leave a message about why I'm not taking tells at the moment. Don't give it a beep sound like tells, and don't show it on the screen so I won't confuse it with a normal /tell. Perhaps they're in a new chat category so I can put them into their own tab and view at my leisure, but that's just a bonus. Concern: This will ruin the community if lower levels can't randomly send tells to higher levels. Reply: I don't believe so. Someone getting an AFK doesn't ruin the community, I don't see how getting a similar "sorry I'm not answering random tells right now" would either. On top of that, there are public chat channels that serve this very purpose. Finally, tells can (and are) already ignored anyway, this just makes it much, much easier. Concern: What about [xyz] feature instead? Reply: First, why instead? The beauty of this idea is it would be optional, so it doesn't affect you if you don't use it. Second, even though you might have a great idea, please create your own feature request thread so we can keep this on topic.
