I have not played for a few months and just signed back on and was wondering what happened to my guild. I was th owner of the guild and gave admin rights to another person to run guild while I was gone, but kept admin rights for myself also still. Is there anyway he could have deleted the guild without my permission and if he did can i get my guild name and level back?

I dont mean to sound like an [Removed for Content] but don't you know anyone in your guild and just do a search w/ the /who function and speak to them online?

If you cannot find anyone, I can only assume your entire guild left the server or everyone quit, hence the guild being deleted by default.

Towards the end of my game playing the guild had dwindled and did notn have many active members and most of them do not play anymore since a majority were IRL friends that stopped playing before I did. But I and 3 of my alts were still guild members when I left specifically so that the guild would be around when/if I came back

Whuch Guild? I did a search on Hellstorm on EQ Players and shows up with 130 toons on the roster. Not sure how accurate that is though. It may be the new admin kicked you and your alts.

Showing this guy as the leader: http://eq2players.station.sony.com/...terId=308962206

If you made someone else a leader, s/he could have disbanded the guild entirely...just kicked everyone else out and then removed him/herself. The guild would disappear entirely.

Does your guild still show up when you search for it on the EQ2 Players website? If it still exists, you might be able to /petition to regain control, but since you purposefully handed the reins to someone else, they technically had the right to do whatever they wanted with it -- including kick you and your alts out.

If it doesn't show up on the EQ2 Players site anymore, it was disbanded. You should be able to reform it if you can find 5 unguilded people on your server willing to help you out.

Good luck!

I am sure hellstorm is going strong, my guild was actually Supremacy. I guess I'll have to petition and beg, but that rarely ever turns out well

I did a search on EQ2 Players for "Supremacy," and there's no guild by that name on Oasis, so looks like whoever you left in charge disbanded it. In that case, I highly doubt /petitioning will do you any good, and it would be faster just to round up some people and form a new guild with the same name. You never know, though...it might be worth a shot to ask a GM for help, but I'm not sure there's a lot they can/will do.

My deepest sympathies to the OP...that sucks. And my apologies to OP, I'm about to highjack his thread.

I will be facing a similar situation in that I will be moving soon and will be offline for some weeks. My credit card will be obsolete and from what I see on the Account page, the only way to change your credit card number is to first cancel your eq2 account.

Questions: If I dont leave anyone in charge, will my guild go poof? If it doesnt, will my veteran status change to reflect the date of the new account? And will Guild Level and perqs be affected? Anyone know?

Thx in advance.

Iksandar of Blackburrow, QoQ

If you dont remember the name but still have old logfiles and suitable patience, searching through it might give the name.
