High Elves cant have black hair ?!!!!

I seem to remember having oddly-shaped pupils as a Dark Elf in EQ1, too... dont have any screens left over with a close-up of  my eyeball though. High Elves having only lighter shades of hair makes sense to me, though.  Their racial profile simply doesn't have the genetic code for wider variance.

High Elves all carry double recessive genes for hair color, so...no, it is genetically impossible to have black hair. The last black hair elf was a loong time ago...in EQ1. /smirk

I'd love it if they could just have shades of brown! I'd MUCH rather have a light - medium brown haired High Elf Bruiser than a blond one. Blond, white, red, and orange.... Those options BITE in a big way. Give me browns at least!

Hmm.. i remember i read something about how to give Ratongas a mustache with editing and reloading a saved character appearence file. I wonder if maybe that way black hair would be possible.

Because as stereotypical as it sounds... Characters with dark hair and dark eyes just look more evil lol... Blonde and Red hair makes them look more "good". Good as in alignment, not looks. I don't see how people can make Arasai and give them Pink hair. They are evil, they should have dark hair, red eyes, and the demon wings... not hot pink or green... thats not evil at all. While the color of someones hair doesn't determine if they are really good or bad... it sure makes for an appearance.

<span style="font-size: medium; font-family: times new roman,times">I have 2 High Elf toons and would love to give them Dark Hair and a hair style that does not look like something out of the 50s. I would also love to change their size so that they are smaller. I already have them small as they will go but they still look like giants next to other toons since everybody seems to make their toons as small as possible except for those giant ogres and barbarians. I also have a dark elf toon and was disappointed I could not give her red eyes other wise I love her looks. My Arasai Shadow Knight I think looks evil with red & yellow wings, red eyes, and white hair.</span>

My main is a half elf and recently I purchased a high elf petrified eye..and after using it I was quite surprised to see that her hair was  black.  Also the same for my friend.  He has a half elf assassin and I believe they get a high elf illusion as a fun spell.  So obviously it is possible for high elves to have black hair..I wish they would add that  because they do look really cool.  Just my 2 cp <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
