Ok. I had some time and I thought I would have some fun checking how hard can someone hit something compared to a Monk. Here are the results!

W A R N I N G: The following might be hazardous to a Monk's self esteem or mental state, if you are suicidal stop reading NOW!

World Wide Highest Melee Hit!

Class No1 No100 Monk 11423 3710 Bruiser 16782 10474 Guardian 22381 8600 Berseker 17983 1 0437 Paladin 9657 4265 Shadowknight 16367 8112

Ok, seems we beat pallies! Then I thought I should check bards. Just to say to myself "look, you can potentially hit harder than a scout!!!"

Class No1 No100 Monk 11423 3710 Dirge 15537 8317 Troubador 15212 5307

Hmm... probably not a good idea that one was it...

Ok, what the heck, we must be able to beat someone other than a pally, let's see hmm...

Class No1 No100 Monk 11423 3710 Warden 16124 2385 Fury 8706 1690 Defiler 14393 1830 Mystic 10015 2127 Inquisitor 14447 3194 Templar 15297 2732

Aha! Furies suck!!! Now, a single hit doesn't mean anything. So what if a Warden hit once just 4.5K more than a Monk. Lucky shot! I outDPS them anyway (Do I?). So what if a bard...

Well... not exactly facts you can base a new whine post on! Just makes me wonder once again what a Monk is actually build for!

I thought the idea of monks was to have a huge range of quick casting small damage attacks combined with high haste so they auto attack like a mofo.... Who cares that their CAs arent as poweful as other fighter classes?

I think that they get to hit hard at some part of the Tunare quest or something.

Anyway, although the numbers don't mean anything they represent the uberness of the Monk today!

Back to the topic! Does anyone dare to check the mages's highest melee hit? I know I don't have the courage!

Would you look at that. Here I am complaining for almost a year because my class is not wanted on raids. Now I see the light. GL's everywhere will want to bring us along now to transmute all that unwanted loot. Now combine that with the FD to save them from wipes and we are golden! Pure Genius!!!

Wait a second. Nevermind. I forgot that both SK's and Necro's get a FD and a rez. If they go transmuter my plan is ruined. Curses.
