Highest Magic Hit

<p>I was going through the leaderboards and checked out "Highest Magical Hit"</p><p>The highest was for over 3 Million.....Thats 3,000,000 and it was from a Zerker. Thats more HP than most Epic Mobs. Am I missing something here? </p><p>Can someone explain how it's possible to hit for over 3,000,000 in ONE hit?</p>

<p>There's an epic mob with 6 million hp that you hit with a special item to reduce it 50% at the beginning of the fight.  I thought they'd taken that thing off the leaderboards, snce it was felt to be cheesy to have a scripted event (required by the encounter) to put someone on the leaderboard like that.</p><p>Guess not.</p>

Yea no doubt, That is SUPER cheesy to put something like that on the leaderboards.

The leaderbords for highest hits were always useless, startet at T5 with Breastplate of Reflection, at T6 it was some special Item that did 500k or whatever against the Djinn-Master .. don't know what came with T7 since i totally lost any interest in raiding <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

T7 has the amulet that hits venekor in HoS for 7% of total life, but htat is only around 200,000-3000,000 still cheasy, but other than that every single high hit would be manaburn and if you take out wizzys it would be either conj's blowing up thier tank pet or necros charming and destorying a undead creature.

Not sure if its only some special item on raidmobs, because my wifes guardian has got a highest magic hit of 34k and she never raids, so maybe some kind of critical HO or something... But its really strange seeing some melee oriented fighters up there, where we would expect wizards/warlocks... Maybe we should just nerf guards/zerker, they can nuke for more than a wizard and wear plate!! How can that be fair.. (and to be on the safe side: I'm just joking here!) gnomish greetings --streeky

I've raided Gates and HoS a bunch, the highest magical hit I've gotten was 699k from I think Venekor.  There's really more to it than just using an item to get a 3 million hit, at least for a tank.  I know I've seen a caster use the Gates one for over 1 million damage before though.
