Level Chat question

Is there a way to open up the higher level chat channels when on a lower level character?  eg when I play my brigand alt, it would be nice to be able to keep an eye on the 60-69 and 70 channels incase there's something I'd rather swap to my level 70 chars for.  Theoretically I've "unlocked" those channels already anyway.

This has been discussed and brought up many times. I have never seen anything made more of it, never seen a DEV respond. On my server the level 1-9 is a general chat most of the times and when 60-70 need something they spam there too.

I am pretty sure you cannot.  Even if you create your own channel and give it the exact name of the level channels it will say you do not have permission or something like that.
