Ok I've dueled nearly ever class and beat them. Brigands, Swashies, zerks, Wizards ect ect. But [Removed for Content] if this Warden doesn't beat me every single time. That [Removed for Content] spell SandStorm is why. I have nearly every stun/stifle item I can get. I can keep him stuns long enough but every time I hit him that [Removed for Content] SandStorm stuns me and there is no way to keep him from healing himself. The best I have done was got him to 10% only to get stunned and have him heal himself back up. I've tried to outlast his mana but thats not going to happen. I've tried full burn and no chance. The longest delay weapon I have is Staff of the Flapping Wing (2.5s). Anyone have any suggestion on how to kill him?

Healers are one of the hardest classes to beat for a monk, even without Sandstorm. The fact that you can beat Swashbucklers though, means you're pretty good at dueling. Engarde and swash dps is a painful combination. Can you buy pumices with status points on non pvp servers? You might be able to dispel the sandstorm if so. That said, flapper/crane flock/god powers and getting lucky with fear is your best chance. If they know what they're doing though, they'll be stun and silence immune, have potions in case they get feared, burn emergencies when you max dps and you won't come close. Sandstorm is a 3 min buff, so you won't out last it. 30 second recast.

Keeping them stunned is not an issues. 90% of the people I fight can't understand how I can keep them stunned/stifled nearly the whole fight. My dueling gear is.. Boots of the Malefic Creator - 1second stun that procs 1.0 times per minite. Manacles of Dark Sky - 5% chance to Stifle for 7seconds Hollowed Basilisk Skullcap - 5% chance to stun for 2seconds Leggings of Determined Growth - 1second fear that procs 1.0 times per minites. (More then likely not worth using but I do anyways) I'm on a non-pvp server so I'll look into some stones. I picked up a cheeze 4second delay weapons last night to test it out and it made a big difference. I rarely got stunned and managed to last thru 2/3 of his power but the DPS wasn't high enough with that cheesy weapon to kill him. Hopefully I can get my hands on something better.

Yet another use for Sandstorm... dueling brawlers. What you could do is just wait for it to run out if you can survive the warden's damage spell. Or get him before he can cast it.

Yeah, I guess stun immunity isn't really useful on non-pvp servers. So not as many will be prepared, you'll be in worse luck when you come up with a capable Warden though. p My warden has Serenity (30 second of stun immunity aa) the status signets which grant 1 min of stun and silence immunity, damage shield pots, and every little possible thing to turtle while I beat someone down. You've probably already thought of this, but it's a good idea to tailor your gear to an opponent too. Maxing cold resists is smart, fire too but not as important as cold.

well non pvp i dunno, but on a pvp server if i see snadstorm i just run away. they have to drop it to come after me. at any rate pvp server rules are diff and i can't beat any warden worth his weight in salt.

Well the only way i know to beat wardens with or without sandstorm is to build 10k resist in both cold and heat, have Arcane cure pots to get rid of the dogs, simply use auto attack with the mace of flapping wing (the heal proc is cool) and use cure pots if possible (regen pots even, they are more efficient) and try to outlast his mana. He won't be able to maintain sandstorms without mana.

If the warden realises his mana goes down a bit too fast (sandstorms has recurent mana cost) he might be tempted to shut it off (considering it doesn't make much of a difference for him since you'r only using auto attack) which gives you a window of opportunity.

But i agree, all this is based on him making a "mistake" in that he has to waist his mana, one way or another, and that will probably not help against a good warden with good gear.
