This is one of the nicest Gi graphics created by the art department to date yet no player items make use of this graphic. It is only being used by a few NPC's in Neriak. I looked all over Neriak and darklight woods for a player wearable version but it does not exist. I hope this graphic makes it into the loot tables somewhere either through a low level zone revamp or new high end content. <img src="http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e38/Novuso/EverQuest/Grey_Gi.jpg" border="0">

Actually, the Deathfist Adept armor out of DFC (uses Blood Iron Ore) uses that graphic but is a dark red.

I hear that SOE's DEV Team is making new armour with the skeleton revamp. With that, they might give us that kind of Gi.

Is what I am looking for is this grey one. There are a fair number of Gi's out there but most of them are not nearly as nice looking as this type of Gi. I hope that the next Gi added into the game is of this type used in Neriak and DFC and not the westler jumpsuit kind.

Thats realy nothing requiring the skeletal revamp, i hope we get a decent number of totaly new gis(not just color) after the revamp and at least one new type with RoK(the swifttails make a good occasion).

Gi of the Ashen Disciple Gi of the Dark Disciple Adept Blood Hide All use the same graphic. Would be nice if there were more gis. Would love the see the bruiser starter gi more.

<p>Quite frankly you might as well ask why ANY NPC outfit isn't available for PCs .. you'll get the same answer.  </p><p>"because". </p>

The truth is lots of NPC clothing has been made available to players since release "because" the player base asked for it. We continueally ask for more so good stuff like this Gi does not slip through the cracks. The devs generally grant these type of requests because the hard part has already been done. The graphic already exists in the game. All they have to do is stick some stats on it and put it on some loot table or crafting recipie.

I knew someone would eventually bring up DoF charactors. I would argue those arn't NPCs but mobs masquerading as NPCs. They are all attackable just like Orcs which are also mobs. They are completely different from PC models because PCs could never look like them, ever. They even have different faces, skin textures, bady shapes, ect. There is no option to create a DoF based human in PC charactor creation. What am talking about here is NPC clothing that is based on PC models not DoF or Orcs. You can create a PC that looks exactly like the NPCs in the above screenshot and you would be perfectly capable of wearing the grey Gi of Neriak if only it existed as loot. Maybe I should have stated that earlier in the OP. The original intent of the topic was just about the Gi specifically because there are not enough Gi's in the game and I would like to see a lot more and this one in particular since it already exists graphically. I too remember the old Blissful Awareness and the reason why it was taken away. The graphic was buggy and was known to cause some lag issues so it was removed for performance reasons and along with a bunch other stuff. But lets' not derail the topic any more than it already has.

While your talking about things npcs have that we don't....did you ever notice that many of the ogres in big bend have facial hair, yet it isn't an option at character creation to add it?  I'm talking original models btw.
