I was hoping this would come in LU36, but never saw notice of it. Conditioning has some nice upgrades for those of us who tank, but: Close Mind requires 3 points in Stone Deaf (no problem) *AND* 3 points in Hardened Skin (bad). It should be one or the other, like almost every other tree in the game. Which means we have to put at least 3 points in Tenacious Will. I don't mind Tenacious Will, but I hate Hardened Skin. Stunning me while I am tanking serves almost zero purpose. Thats 6 wasted points just to get a "decent" endline ability. I'd rather do: 5 Ignore Agony 5 Vigorous Spirit 5 Stone Deaf 5 Closed Mind 1 Retribution of Stone Them it would make this line viable for those of us who tank, but wasting points on an ability like Hardened Skin is not the way I want to go. Or, just make Hardened Skin a stifle instead of a stun and I'll consider using it. agressiv

Alot of the other trees in every classes' class specific tree has a line that requires going down both lines to get the last enhancement.

Are you looking at the same line? This has nothing to do with getting the final ability.. you can get it without ever touching Close Mind. The real issue is that you have to blow 15 points just to START getting points in Close Mind. Is it really that good? Is it a comparable upgrade as to another 15 point requirement... like the Necro's Undead Tide upgrade? I really don't think so. I really don't think most of these bonuses are good short of PvP server stuff (where you might not necessarily have control over when the next fight will be). I would support an "OR" being placed there instead of "AND". I would also support having the benefits changed to something like increasing duration.. or at least reducing it more than 25s over 5 points. I mean, seriously... it's a 3 minute ability, bring it down to 1 minute and then were talking about an upgrade that's worth 15 qualifying points. The whole conditioning line is like this though. Short of the heal upgrade, the whole line stinks. I mean, let's look at this: - 25% recast reduction on a self cure... it's still a minute and a half long. I don't know if you've noticed, but you will be hit with debuffs probably 50 times in that amount of time. I would far prefer more things being cured... like adding noxious and elemental to that list. - 50s duration increase to a mit for health buff that already lasts 3 minutes. Who in the heck will even need this kind of an increase? How many fights have you fought that lasted over 3 minutes, that you as a Bruiser could survive? So maybe the 0.00001% of Raid MT Bruisers can last in the 3 or 4 fights out there that last longer than 3 minutes... right. How about reducing the draining health cost (or even eliminating it completely?). Or how about increasing the amount of mitigation given! Or even reducing the downtime between uses (3 minute reuse means this is basically a buff held until a fight where you REALLY need it). - % increase in mitigation on the one buff that we'll never use (Hardened Skin). How about changing it like the Inquisitor's Zealotry change, so it just stifles you. Hell, I'd even take stifle and root.. then it could be considered a "big boss buff". Slap on Crane Flock and turn this sucker on and use the single target taunt with autoattack. - 15s reduction in recast time on Stone Deaf. I mean seriously... spending 5 points to get 15 second faster on a 2 minute recast? I will literally NEVER see the difference between 2 minutes and 1 minute 45s. I can honestly say I've never had this spell queued up to be used again the second it's recast was done... ever. It's always been a pulling buff to survive the first nukes... This would either need to be changed to a major reduction in recast (like a minute), or maybe given extra hits blocked.. sort of a 2 points per rank, 3 rank type skill. And the last ability. The chances of this occuring are astronomically small. 20% chance to proc on a riposte. Ripostes occur on 20% of your parry. Even with Int line's parry bonus (+15 or so), my parry is only 12.1%. So against a SOLO lvl 70 mob, I'm parrying 12.1% of the time... which means I'm riposting 2.4% of the time... which means this ability would only go off 0.48% of the time. That's one in over 200 attacks. Oh, and parry is contested.. so a heroic will have it occur even less, while a named ever less on top. Epic named? Are you kidding? This would have to be changed to 20% per Deflection to have any appreciable value. As it stands, it's a ridiculous waste of points. Especially since the rest of the line is so pointless. I'd almost be fine with the final if we were given the changes I mentioned above for the rest of the line.

It should be OR instead of AND. I dont want to put points in the stuff on the left. I dont any of this stuff so I can tank epics, I do it so I can last longer against a tough heroic when I'm 2-boxing. agressiv
