+piercing damage question

<p>i am a 70 troubadour    </p><p> I have just got a Dirk of Negativity (yay!) and have a Velium Kris   </p><p>my old set up was </p><p>Dark Linger with poison proc adornment </p><p>Velium Kris with +12 piercing damage   </p><p>I was always under the impression that on each swing of the Kris i would get up to 12 extra damage?</p><p> just out of interest i got a lvl 20 weapon and added a +magic damage to it just to see what would happen... </p><p>and on every swing i got... you have hit mob for X amount pierce and Y amount of magic but with a +pierce damage i dont get that... </p><p>i just get you have hit mob for X... is that extra damage included in that amount?   </p><p>and also if i have both +pierce damage on the Kris and Drik.. do they both work and increase each swing?</p>

<p>The reason you are seeing it like that, is because it will not go: You pierce suchansuch for 830 piercing damage, and 8 piercing damage.  It just rolls them together since it's the same type.  I'd say though, go with either a power tap proc(if you have problems, or for raids) or the +5 piercing adornment.  That works on your skill, which will make you hit better.</p>
