I have a very high end machine that I installed XP pro on, because of the horror stories I have read about running Vista on the 8800 series nVidia cards. I mostly play EQ2, so I don't want to dump cash into an OS that I can't use. I have read through some threads here and I have noticed most of them are fairly old and seem to be related more to personal computer issues than Vista 64 issues in general. So any thoughts? Will EQ2 run well on it? I keep hearing that phrase ring through my head, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". But I really want Vista 64. It's pretty.

Absolutly no way in heck would I ever install Vista this early.  No reason to... go with your gut and wait there are nothing but problems with it.

Been running EQ2 under Vista 32 since way before the public beta release of the product and have been running on the gold release of Ultimate 32 since november of 2006, I regularly two box on the systems in eq2, eq and swg. The only SoE station access application I have not been able to get to run is Planetside.
