Well im a 70 monk with 77AA and i need help with where to put my AA in both trees. I want to be DPS. I have the following weapons.

1. The Twin Calamities

2. Fists of Pain

So which way should i go. Will i be able ti fill in as a backup tank if needed by going with a full dps AA setup. Come on all you monk experts help a fellow monk out with a good AA setup. Thanks all.

when are the aa changes happening ? just put them wherever. how did you get lvl 70 with 77aa without attaining some sort of understanding of how your toon works ? just examine the abilities and make a decision on whether or not it will be good. i always encourage ppl to make their own decisions and not to be sheep. or you could just go with a generic 448 in sta/wis/int. if you can't figure out where to put them in the monk tree for dps you have issues.

Well lets see i know my char thats not a problem. I was simply look for help what others have done for AA's to go DPS. As for how did i get to 70 with 77 AA's and not know what im doing. Well lets see first the guild needed me in one roll then i played with another. Now they need me to be dps. So hince why im asking for a little help with what we have for AA's. So the response you gave was not needed. I have done nothing but ask for advice.
your guild needs dps ? roll a dps class. that's valid advice. have a wonderful day.

Wow Kota, having a bad day ? Even if it came across as a little on the hostile side, Kota's advice about the "generic 448 in sta/wis/int" setup is indeed the most common and seemingly the best AA setup in the Brawler tree for DPS.

As for the Monk tree, as a general rule, if it has a red background, it will help DPS ( except the one single taunt AA that also has a red background ). Also, make sure to put 5 points in to the improved heal, it is one of the best AA's in the Monk tree (imho). However, focus on the Brawler tree first as it is far better than our EoF Monk lines.

Sheesh

We are normally pretty civil here on these boards, even when we are arguing - when someone asks for advice . . .

Rekn,

In the Monk tree, 4-4-8 in Sta, Wis and Int will give you the highest sustained DPS.

Personally, I went 4-4-8-6-1 Wis, 4-4-8 Int and 4-5 Sta. While you sacrifice just a bit of across the board DPS, the burst damage potential from Crane Flock is well worth it, IMO. (In the right group, when a dirge hits cacophony of blades synched with crane flock, I can parse with the predators. Just for that fight, but hey . . .)

I agree completely with Nerill about the Heal enhancement AA from the EoF tree. Master I heal with 5 points in the AA gives you a ~48 to 55% heal. On a raid buffed guard, I frequently hit over 7,000 on that heal. It is real raid saver.
