<p>Basically i don't raid with my SK at the moment, i re-rolled an Assassin to raid. Which i did for a while and then the HC aspect wasn't really for me so i've semi retired him too. Which brings me back to my SK, my first character. This is my SK</p><p> <a href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/characters/character_profile.vm?characterId=251339303" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://eq2players.station.sony.com/...terId=251339303</a></p><p>Basically sitting on the fence between tank and mage, a little more tank atm as my current AA spec is: Intelligence 448 Stamina 4448 and Wisdom 445. Then into EoF it's Reaver and starting down into Decay as i only have 80 AA right now. I think with the upcoming changes 448 into Agi, Int and Sta could be a fun AoE build and kick out a decent parse, i'll be using the 2 handed Claymore reward for looks and this is unlikely to change.</p><p>What i want to do over the summer is random pick up raids in KoS and maybe even the easier EoF zones. But i want to raid as a Battlemage, a plate Warlock, and a true Herald for Bertoxxulus! I don't really want to tank as it's a stack of hassle and i can't ninja afk every chance i get =D </p><p>So it's time for the great and foolish DPS rebuild......</p><p>Adorns, Raid drops, Quests. If someone was dumb enough to really chase them all down, which ones should this idiot start with?</p><p>Yes i know the Battlemage thing kinda died out, but with all the adorns avaliable, better itemisation and the AA reshuffle, shouldn't look again? </p>

<p>I was the MT for the guild that I'm currently in a while back. I had myself set up with a STR/INT AA spec using the added DPS from the spell crits (which is a MUST for SK), the passive hate increase and spell timer alterations with the final ability in the STR line. I'm now DPSing with the same spec and the only issue that I run into is agro control. I simply can't go all out with the passive hate increase without pulling agro. I say, if you want a good DPS spec then hit part of the STR line for some haste, AGI line for the boosts that SoE is putting into it and (of course) the INT line down to the spell crits. As far as adornments, get anything you can with INT/STR on it, the adornment for symbols that increases your Disease DMG and any crit piece that you can get as well ^.^ The neck piece is the only spell critting piece that I know of atm, but I'm just now coming back to the raid scene as a SK. (I went with my fury to a different server for a while in case you're wondering ^.^)</p><p> As far as gear, look into the pleathora of procing gear that you can get from KoS. DT and LoA are the best places to pick up this stuff that I can remember. Also do the HQ that gives you the procing belt ^.^ Boost your INT/STR with your gear and start blowing some shite up ^.^</p>

There is a big difference between being DPS specced and being Battlemage specced. DPS spec is just a specific gear setup, still using plate... Relic or Malicious set would be best since its stats are suited to SK. Battlemages wear cloth armor and tend to [Removed for Content] themselves a bit more to achieve a minimal amount of extra DPS.

Ahhh, I personally say screw the Battle Mage thing. You'll get better use out of the plate armor. Especially when you yank agro >.<

I run about 7500 hp 28% avoidance (in offensive mode) with mostly 6-7k resists 640ish int, in the high 400's str I use full plate, mostly eof legendary (which is better than most kos relic fyi) and pvp gear with a couple of relics and mostly legendary eof jewelry. I run full int and full str line on the kos AA, and full hate and full reaver on EOF I dps like mad, the str line plus the cloak of flames significantly increases your autoattack damage.  I run full int only because of the pvp atmosphere, reflect is an amazing pvp skill vs any caster. I can raid tank (not nearly as well as other tank classes like guard and zerk, but i can do it), I can make the parse posts in raids, i can solo like a beast and I can easily tank estates which is by far the most difficult 6 man in the game. I highly recomend it unless you are on a pve server and then you could go down stam or agil with the last points in the int line after the 8 i crits. I used to think that the str line would be a joke but i cannot imagine not having it now.

Also, Nizara is alot harder than Unrest, I breeze through unrest in an hour running in offensive stance all the way.
