In the latest test server update. So instead of shadowknight and assassin getting double nerfed, they turn to warden.

Its heal amount in pvp is now almost halved.

Nice of you to bring it up, but numbers and screenshots are more efficient at raising a problem then vauge statements like "almost halved".

I do not have a pvp warden made but the update notes did say this.... Lowered the heal amount of Warden spores while in pvp. Maybe someone in pvp can post a screenshot of the change.

Out of everything out there- I truly am amazed the the warden class is the class being nerfed.

It is more than half on the original heal spores give, then the over time portion is way more than on live. Go figure.

Also our damage is nerfed a lot.

I hope I can transfer off PVP server if these changes do not pan out well in actual use.

The heal nerfs are annoying. I was on test for a couple of days. Scouts couldn't burn through me as quickly. I never got to fight a brig though. I fought 2 swashies. The first fight I blew through one of the swashies. The other fight I was run out of power and only lived because I had power potions and a signet of replenishment. This fight was pre heal nerf. I barely won the fight. I wish I would have never logged on test. The whole time all I was hearing was healers are overpowered now. Just because it was harder to kill me. Yes I still beat the casters and melee classes that I fought. The caster fights were much longer than before. I thought that was the goal; longer fights. I hate that balancing is based around solo. I much prefer group fights. I don't know because I have not tested the latest changes, but I hope my ability to keep my group mates up is not been nerfed to the point that I can't keep them up. I have used that 15% heal miracle before. It makes a significant difference.

Really stupid poorly thought out healer changes. Sorry gotta call it like I see it. Not because I am a healer, if I was a scout I want a healer to be able to heal me and keep him or herself alive in pvp.

They basically undid all the scout nerfing by nerfing healers lol. What was the point exactly? Not sure I get the direction they want to head with this. Is it to make healers non viable in pvp? Is it to force us to play scouts?

Sure thing, Ill be using my shadowknight if these changes hurt my warden too much. Have fun when you can't find healers whiners.

(maybe not most productive post but this is how I feel)

Shades of the Combat Revamp.

I know right after EoF went live, with some enhancements we got and with the diminishing returns on mitigation, etc...we were viewed as unstoppable. (I was stopped a LOT, tyvm ..LOL)

If you could look at a graph of when certain classes were FoTM, you would see that was when everyone rolled a Warden and lots of Furies betrayed. Warden is one of the nicer classes in PvP due to utility, survivability, and the all important runner-stopping roots.

The Devs, IMO, don't know [Removed for Content] they want PvP to look like in this game. If they do, they are not able to match that vision with something that can make the majority of people content with the game. I suppose it's the nature of the gaming beast. Unfortunately it's annoying when our really good stuff that we depend upon...but that isn't overpowered...is nerfed.

I could play 'if I was a Dev..' all day, I suppose, but my bottom line would be to understand that people are unhappy when you take stuff away from them. They will rarely complain if you give them things or leave them alone when they are happy. So plan a little more carefully, I'd say.

Faite, I agree completely. I want to move my characters OFF the PvP server. I have for months. I will happily take the faction hits, since they are meaningless in PvE anyway.

They really just need to stop trying to balance classes in PvP. There's no such thing as the unbeatable class. It's mainly player skill. Some classes are easier to achieve with than others but they all can achieve. When I PvP'd I knew a troub who was so good I constantly looked for him because he was such a challenge. Some say rangers were godly, I beat tons of rangers and was beaten by others. Wardens were the god, I beat them too and others I couldn't. There was a swash I traded kills with all the time, some times he'd win other times I'd win. The only class I could say was ultra hard was the Illusionist and it wasn't even because of the illusionist it was their pets who could bypass stun/stifle timers. Hopefully that got fixed but even they weren't unbeatable I just had to learn to kill the pet first. If I could kill pet fast enough the illusionist dropped.

But really there will never be a magic balance of classes. Just try to make sure any bugs and exploits are taken care of and let the players and God sort out the rest.
