for test to be truley effective they need to take the beta buffers out. now there are groups of plyaers running around griefing those that are tryiing to test the content. it seems all those level lockers that are locked at t3 to grief new players, copeied to test and beta buffed to 70

Do us all a favor and go commit suicide or something, cause obviously your self esteem is so low that you cannot even allow folks to try to get the game tuned to where we need it.  Otherwise keep it up and the devs won't get the proper feedback needed in test, and we're all screw'd. Your choices folks, we have the opportunity to help this time.  Stop being immature and help fix the problems not become the greater part of the problem.

Get rid of them, I use the beta buffer, but I do not abuse the beta buffer.</p><p> I say , abuse it once and your out.  That means ganking, yea, is pvp, but its not a PVP SERVER its a TEST SERVER.</p><p>That means people set up situations and test situations.   If you people who are a few tools short of a full toolbox  (you know who you are) come on in and gank, noone can get anything done for the Dev's.</p>

Scrub PvE players have also been beta buffing characters to 70 and interrupting 1v1s with raids. Grats PvE.

There is a beta buffer npc on the pvp server? Or you talking about those two PVE raid guilds that SOE copied over to the pvp server to "test" the new raid zones?

<p>You can roll any toon up on the PvP test server, get it to the Sinking Sands dock, and be endgame ad3 spells level 70 and full relic with the click of ONE button.</p><p>lots of scrubs going over there doing it now... can't get a fair shake a decent test because yesterday I got rolled by an X2 of these nubs standing on the docks.</p><p>crazy</p>

What is funny is that is what PVP is, not 1v1s, not fair fights, but 98 percent of the time gankers gankin. Your just seeing the reality of what happens on Production. How often do you really get fair fights on Production, i'd say very very rare, especially in 1v1s. -------------------

The first night I got on there there was a x2 raid of exiles camping the SS docks killing anybody that came in.  Lucky for us a Coder made an avitar and told them to knock it off and leave  us alone, which thankfully they did.

I tried testing-spent hours downloading all of the files, made an assassin and beta-buffed away.  I wanted to see how big of a hit I was going to take when I eventually get to max level.  I looked at my gear and realized that I was given a 1h weapon and a dw weapon and couldn't equip both.  Saddened, I thought I'd take my 10p over to the broker and pick up a second dw only to learn that there were none available. =( No testing for me, I don't care how my level 70 test-copied swashbuckler will perform because I hate the class.

The beta buffer was fun, and I used it myself to check other classes.... BUT: 1. People seem to use it to make toons to gank people with. Random ganking on the test server is quite meaningless, and makes things difficult for those who are there to actually test stuff. If you want to fight someone, give them a warning in /ooc or send them a tell. Don't just attack randomly. 2. Everyone who rolls a beta toon and have no idea how to play the class.... well, they suck at it of course. It's fun and all, but testing on these toons will probably not be very relevant... <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
