Are any of them gonna get BIGGER? Ive noticed that in several other current MMOS, some of the big Raid Mobs are GIGANTIC.. and this idea of the new REGIONS could bring larger mobs. I for one would LOVE to see Tarinax sized mobs even BIGGER.. but not so slow hehe. =)

<p>It's funny but I was hoping the exact opposite.</p><p>I dislike giant raid mobs, particularly as MT, because;</p><ul><li>They're often awkward to position, and 2/3rds of the mob usually ends up in a wall. Granted this is part of the skill of MT'ing, but you shouldn't have to deal with mobs in walls.</li><li>The hitbox is unpredictable, taking Wuoshi as an example, you can hit him from 50 yards away, and he can hit you back from that distance, again making positioning a pain in the [Removed for Content].</li><li>The animation looks awful, particularly the way they rotate on the spot.</li><li>It smacks of laziness - just taking a regular mob and increasing it's size by 10 times for the raid instance.</li><li>It looks completely ridiculous having someone waving a sword at a mob so big it would realistically just stamp them into the ground.</li></ul><p>That said too small (Brownies in EH) sucks too. I think labs is probably about right for mob size, and still the best example of a raid zone in EQ2, even if it is trivial now.</p>

i dunno there are some really cool things they could do with raid mobs ala world of Warcraft and mobs like Ragnaros.. that really never move too much... i do think a little creativity in animation and such couldnt hurt ya know? it is true alot of mobs behave on a swivel and even player character have a turn animation. But I think honestly as the world expands there needs to be Terrorantula x4 sized mobs out there somewhere... and about brownies, technically we should be able to stamp them into the ground too, butehh you take the world as is, size is just an after thought afterall.... just hope it gets a little more indepth than a normal sized guy on a horse with a pumpkin on his head hehe. Not that that mob isnt cool, i guess I yearn for those EPIC battles against all odds kinda thing my self. Woushi is ok, but he moves so [Removed for Content] slow its like pulling teeth as he walks around.

i would like to take the ops statement to a whole diffrent level ever played t6he game shadows of collosus? remember the last boss take that but larger (ok that game was soso but ya have to admit the boss battles were crazy) i want mobs so big i cant even see them unless my camera is at a 90 degree angle looking up.

worst part about mobs that big is they are [Removed for Content] near impossible to get exactly where ya want em heh you move a little bit and the whole mob decides to swing around and plant itself smack dab in the wall or something

Try to find the exact position that will avoid a tail lash and allow you to get off behind only attacks on like Gorenaire pulled into an alcove with his body in the wall, then tell me you want huge mobs. However, all these issues are fixed by OUTDOOR raidzones, /wink /wink!!!

Yea huge mobs are only really cool if its outdoors or they are stationary (ala Ragnoros/ Murmur for WoW), otherwise your right they are a compleat pain to get into position. After a certain size though it kinda ruins it cause you cant really see the mob any more and your just staring at its feet (many a tank knows this feeling already.)

I would definatly like to see a huge version of a Mob like the MCP in CoI.

I personally like fighting large mobs though I've never liked having to fight them in small spaces either. I think the big mobs should be in fought in appropriately sized arenas for them to fight in.

the largest mob we'll see in Kunark will probably be Trakanon. not sure if he'll be killable or play more of a Nagafen-like role. id prefer more of an NPC role personally, hes a very interesting character, and very powerful.

Well according to Crush Seb is suppose to be the center of the new Iksar empire and thats where Trak made his home. This leads one to wonder, what happened to Trak? Did they throw him out/ kill him, or is he the real power behind the new empire?
