Trample vs the STR line

<p>I am currently AGI448, STA 448, and INT 458 </p><p>  LOVING IT!  Aggro seems easier to hold, so I guess I'm doing more dps, but not sure and have to wait to respec, not paying 10p, lol, plus not parser to compare the two</p><p>I have been STR44861 STA45 and INT478 </p><p>  and loved the timer reduction and the hate increase seemed to help</p><p>For those that have researched it or have done both, which shows more DPS?  I tank mostly in groups, but have started going on some pick up raids where have only tanked MoA4 but normally DPS.  Which did you like as far as numbers and holding agg went?</p>

You know...I was thinking about doing that exact same spec line you listed after trying it on test now that horse part is gone...40% frontal autoattack ftw Also when I am with an Illy,Inq and a Dirge and get a ton of haste I have been using this 2 hander and critting for 5k-7k (no lie) autoattacks and pulling 2k parses all night...with the trample skill I may get after next LU I cant imagine the parses I will pull on group fights <img src="http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/6594/eq2loot1479pj9.jpg" border="0">

<p>I've tested most of the SK AA lines in KoS (haven't really played much in EoF so I couldn't help you there as much) and I liked using the STR/INT lines for agro purposes. I've tried the AGI lines and didn't like the restrictions with the mount and such so I went back to the STR line. The increase in passive hate, bump in haste and the timer decrease/refreash decrease I found was more helpful with agro control. I use this for my own spec and with my own casting order and I can usually push out well over 1K DPS while tanking and around 1K while DPSing (without pulling agro). I could do more in the DPS department, but I usually end up ripping the mob and tanking it the rest of the fight or dying. </p><p>I say, stick to what you're comfortable with honestly. I've seen others use the same AA build and given them my casting order only to see them NOT pull off the same results. I hope the boosts that they're giving the line will help you even more ^.^</p>

<p>Now, when i enter an instance, I still have two trample symbols... does that mean its still active?  as if i were on a mount?  Enter a zone on a mount it keeps it up.  Buff in a zone and only get one trample symbol since you werent on a moutn to begin with.</p><p>I've also found, or so it seems, aggro isnt as hard to keep with trample, especially if i zone into an instance with two trample symbols up.  It never seemed that the passive hate line really helped much, including the siphon hate line, but can't tell. since I don't group with the same 5 ppl all the time and not in a large guild to try doing so.</p>

As is right now if you are on horseback the % chance has an extra bonus...If you die in a zone and get one Trample symbol that extra bonus is removed =( LU36 is fixing this though =)
