Question about deleting characters and furniture items.

<p>Hey, if your character has no-trade furniture items placed in your house by another character, and that character gets deleted, do the items get deleted as well?</p><p>I haven't played my 28 berzerker since the Diety Preview quests just before EoF came out. For the sake of having the items, I used him in exile to complete the Innoruuk, Cazic Thule, and Rallos Zek quests. I want to get rid of him and start over, but I dont wanna lose those items.</p>

They were never deleted for me.  I did a bunch of those racial starter quests for house items and deleted the character after.  I'll just put a disclaimer up because that must have six months ago at the least.  I really doubt that it has changed but if a more recent answer would make you feel better then I am sure that somebody has to have done it recently.

I deleted a char a week or two ago and her items are still in my house. I can move them, but not pick them up.

A lot of house decorators have cycled newbie characters to get the racial quest house items (those that have house items) for decorating touches (like the high elven purplish flowers).  The only time you lose the items is if you do a sever transfer.  You might lose them, too, when moving from one house to another, though that might be "fixed" with the new moving crate.

<span style="color: #ff0066">I have moved a couple of times and did a server transfer and have not lost any items from toons that I cancelled. There is one exception tho, I did lose a couple of books that I had duplicates of, but everything else stayed. I even have items that other toons from other accounts gave me and they have since quit the game and I still have them. with the new moving crates all items in your home even ones from deleted characters will be in the crate when you purchase your new home...they also send in game mail to your other characters notifying them that said character has moved since they have items in said home lol pretty spiffy.
