Ekroosik's Replicators?

I'm just very curious.  I've seen them by all the spires, what's their purpose?  The say hello to me but that's about it.

<p>Theyve only been used for one thing:</p><p>Just before KOS came out there was a live event to build the spires. Once this live event was done and KOS was released you could talk to these guys and get a small reward if youd helped build the spires.</p>
